Thank you! Great video showing all the key points while being short. I’ll say again, please get yourself Jack stands. Car could roll or cinder blocks could crack. Take care :)
I know you've already been told about those dangerous "Besser Blocks" but i had one of them break on me many years ago so please don't use them. Stay safe my friend 😊
Solid video but on the plug replacements you have both listed in text as the filler plug at 52 ft-lb. The first plug is the drain plug, the second is filler plug. Are both 52 ft-lbs?
Thanks, very straight. Very usefull, can you suggest an oil to use? Id like the diff to be locked, but i dont want to solder it, any tip? Thanks for your answer!
Thank you for watching! If you want locked differential you need to buy LSD for your car model and use SAE 75W-140 oil. If you want just change you diff oil 75W-90. Any brand will work.
You make a big mistake, the key is dinamometric, and dinamometric only work good if you put your hand in the extremety of the tool, and you put in the middle, im not english, but you have to worry to put in the correct dibamometric pression, because the oil gonna begin to drop , worry....

YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE BEST. But i would never trust those concrete blocks. lol
Thank you for watching!
Nice video mate but for supporting the car please use wood instead of concrete blocks, these tend to crack and break on you.
Thank you for advice!
@@mikes.garage You're welcome Mike, l love your videos man.

Solid video but on the plug replacements you have both listed in text as the filler plug at 52 ft-lb. The first plug is the drain plug, the second is filler plug. Are both 52 ft-lbs?

I've never heard of locked diff. What is this about?
@@bogusienombre355 more or less like having a welded diff.
@@SIG_333 got it. Thought maybe it was a special plug or welding? Thanks.
My e46 has no drain plug, what's the best solution then? Sucking the old fluid through the filler hole or removing the diff cover plate?
You answered your own question 😉

Spec in Germany is 50 Nm 🧐
Good video, but don't jack a car up like that. That is not safe, idc if you think it is.

That's the most dangerous jack stands!
I've seen this fall and nearly kill friends of mine
Don't use blocks in future bro
