I viewed this video 5 years ago. Now 5 years later, I managed to complete my pilot training and guess what! I will be flying the Airbus A320 very soon. Never give up guys and keep the motivation up

@@joanaragones552 Is the ATPL hard for someone with pretty good levels in maths physics and sciences of engineering? Or do you have to learn and keep in mind a lot of things?
@@Anto-ug3wn ATPL is hard, you will be more comfortable with some subjects than others, having pretty good level in match could help you in GenNav, Mass&Balance or Performance but they have some specific forms that you have to be familiar with. There are subjects which are 100% theory. Is hard, more if it is distance learning as I am doing but every exam done is a small victory to get the license. Let's see how the covid evolve because right now there are nothing clear about our career. All the best !!!

Anyone for flying? Realise your dream. Make strategy. Pull out all the stops. Go for broke. Avoid negative people. Listen to and watch your mentors (for you are their prodigy. Look towards Captaincy but be great and enjoy the right seat. Fill your mind with the knowledge. Don't be complacent. Follow your verve. Take time around your aircraft on the ground even if you are not flying that day. Aim to realise your dream as soon as possible but don't fret or panic. Follow any signs to your success. Accept and take every opportunity to realise your objective. Don't let anyone, or anything stand in your way. Get funded, you will always be able to pay it back. Don y leave yourself short of money during training. Never lose sight of your objective or get list down a side road. The closer you get to nirvana the more the devil puts things in your way. Trust only those who want you to succeed. Avoid baddies whether they be minions or persons of power. Pray often. Let God be your Co-pilot. Don't ever give up.

This is the video that we watched on ground school around 5 years ago. I was so motivated to get my license and my ratings. I graduated with honors and was one of the best in flight training. 3 years after getting my license, here I am, working for a wage at a call center. Why? Well turns out in my country if you don’t have a US tourist visa you can’t even apply for an airline job. My VISA has been denied twice. I even tried general aviation, nope. I don’t have the right contacts, because in general aviation you don’t apply for the job, you know someone that knows someone that can give you an interview.
Dear Luis. All pilots have it hard. You think I graduated and started flying. I was without a Job for 3 years, went back to my old job, then was lucky to start flying only to my surprise the company made us redundant just after 4 months, I left for Asia when I continued flying after 6 months, after 2 years I could not make PIC there due to local regulation, so I moved to EU and got my command there, only to my surprise again after 4 months company ceased operations. Later after another 6 months, I joined another ACMI company where after 1 year Covid happened, then I joined as a Flight Operations Inspector, became TRI, TRE, and now moved again to the most prestigious airline of them all, the pinnacle of aviation, the dream of every pilot flying the biggest bird there is.
So Never let your hopes and dreams down. There is a reason why we call it Aviation.

Awesome video! My dream is to be a pilot, but unfortunately right now in Germany it´s extremely difficult to get an apprenticeship place but I will never give up on my dream!

So wie es jetzt auf dem Markt aussieht... Wird kritisch... Aber eine private Ausbildung + Bewerbung bei einer Airline als schon ausgebildeter Pilot, wäre die beste Alternative!
Nicht nur gut in der Schule. Sie müssen eine starke Leidenschaft für Fliegen und Luftfahrt im Allgemeinen haben.
