I was listening to this podcast via Apple Podcasts as I would usually do, but as monalisa dropped the bombshell, I had to run to RUclips to see faces and expressions 😂😂 Husband material that’s usually neutral and tries to accommodate everyone’s opinions almost lost his mind 😂😂😂…baba say “this stroke no follow”😂
😂😂😂😂
Same here
I feel that we should also address parents who body shame their children
Yes very true… parents do this a lot in this country and nothing is being done about it
Should a good point, weight, hair texture and skin color.
My mom always body shames me, when I react or get angry, she will start saying I don't have respect and I lack character. It has affected me alot which has messed up my self esteem.
My dad always do
Very intimidating 😔
@@chommyplace6547 i am on this table too
I recently just worked on my weight. I used to be chubby, not even fat and I never liked it. I consciously decided to work out and diet. Now I'm not thin but wouldn't be called chubby either . I look at myself everyday and feel gorgeous! I get comments like " you're losing weight it's not good" but I feel gorgeous and so don't care. I believe if you genuinely love you regardless of your size, provided it's not affecting your health. It's all good.
Please Help a sister, how did you get to your desired weight
Every minute of Honest Bunch is educative and Inspiring..
From the first day I came across till this moment..I have not regretted creating time for it.
I can readily remember the episodes that ft. Helen Paul, ID Cabasa and the likes..
This team is well appreciated!!!
Nedu always knows someone going through a particular situation 😂
The national #1 gossip
He has plenty of friends and he talks sha
Aswear 😂😂😂
And it’s possible he lies… i don’t believe him most of the time
Nedu needs a timer or stopwatch while talking
K’mon my girl TOUN got to talk more
I need a nedu in my life . He’s too funny I can’t even breathe again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This body positivity topic should be hammered upon bcos people are going through a lot. I remember in my secondary school days I was called Ronaldinho .
Ezinne, Toun and Husband Material’s reactions live rent free in my head… Nedu’s screams 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I’m just screaming in my apartment! What the heck???? 😅😅😅😅😅
❤
Nedu wazobia always finds a way to spice up the whole show no matter how dull it might initially be. Kudos nedu, kudos honest bunch 👏 👍 👌 learnt a lot about body potisitivy, sorry posivitity, sorry body positivity.
B.P got me laughing
I like that Nedu was using fat as a word. It’s as if when you say ‘fat’ these days, people get offended. ….and I keep using it cos it’s an English word. Thank you; it’s not an insult! You are fat! I am fat simple! Why should you be triggered.
@Vivien Offodile we definitely have joined the modern day woke nations to be delusional.
Wow!! Funny thing is, I even had this exact conversation with my mom recently.. The point is you will first have to love yourself enough!! If u intend to loose weight, make sure you are doing it for the right reasons, do it because that's what you want to do , don't do it because you want the "society" to accept you!!
I remember when I was still in primary school, I think at the age of 9/10 years, my elder brother was like" you are fat , stop eating, blah blah, now he might not have meant it in a bad way but the way he said it had a long time effect on me.. as young as I was then, I slowly began to hate myself, I disliked everything about me, I withdrew from people entirely, it got to a point where I started taking Lipton tea and I would boil like 10 pieces or more of it and put in a flask, I was taking it morning, afternoon, night and in large quantities, I stopped eating and would always throw away food that momsi dishes out for me and eventually I landed in the hospital, apparently I fainted and all of that !! I became very unhappy, gradually this feeling ate me up even up to my secondary school and university days, I have never felt good about myself and guess what, suicidial thoughts came in!! I attempted suicide a couple of times kos each time I see slim people, I get intimidated, I felt like I had a problem and that I'm not supposed to here.. how I survived this, I still don't understand but the first was ACCEPTING AND LOVING MYSELF and I have made CONSCIOUS EFFORTS to stay healthy and fit!
You are awemazing and you are loved irrespective of what people's opinion about you may be !!! ❤❤
It was a good conversation before Monalisa drop the bomb. Husband material was speechless for the first time
You guys should once in a while,,pick two or three of your fans,,,to be in a studio with you guys and contribute.....it will be fun filled
Nedu the king of knowing people 😂😂 and he always knows someone relating to the topic they're talking about. 😂
I'm a die hard Ghanaian 🇬🇭 fan...I've watched every episode of the honest bunch because I always learn a thing or two at the end of every episode.....its a very big misconception that Ghanaians like to bleach.
Lady at the right hand side of Nedu.....her voice is Unique thick and sweet.......coupled with beauty 😍.
She dey enter my eyes oooo but I never get 💰 enough money for now
Husband Material facial expression was everything 😂😂😂😂
God bless you Nedu and the rest of the crew for wonderful contents. Body shaming should be frowned upon in every form. However, we should be aware of the health dangers of being obese. Their is a reason why some life insurance policies contains details of weight and height. Obesity is associated with an increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD), particularly heart failure (HF) and coronary heart disease (CHD) which is the number 1 killer for women. It benefits you before any other person to maintain a healthy weight. God bless
Nedu is something else! He is too funny especially when he starts rising his voice..... I just burst into laughter
First off, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt. Adjectives are descriptive words. And that's just that. Banters are banters and are mere words, they don't kill. What we should be advocating is, to develope ourselves mentally and psychological to weather any situation. Self acknowledgement and not acceptance is very important. Acknowledgments will help you choose what to accept and what not to accept. In choosing a spouse, know what you want and what you could tolerate before marriage. Acknowledge your reality and assess what you can do it. With relation to sex, sex can be rough and nasty. But should never be dirty or gross. Make una no surprise if man wey dey leak woman blood dey use am do juju
Bloggers are coming for Monalisa, but I admire the honesty of this podcast, I can't wait for the next Topic. Keep it up guys.
She wasn't being honest,it's called clout chasing. Africans now do it better than westerners. They will say anything to get attention.
As in ehn. She get liver no be small.
Monalisa hope you will be ready when they come again, there certain things you don't say live and when an action is wrong peoples reaction is usually the evidence that points to that fact , do you know one is at risk of being infected when having an oral sex not even to talk of going down during on her during menstrual period if that's ok why don't you allow your boy friend to deficate right in your mouth nawaaaa....oh better ask your boo to go do a text on himself.
They already carried her now
Wait Wait Wait 😂😂😂😂😂 Husband Material just weak like fried plantain 💔😂😂😂😂😭😭😭 when she say her guy dey go down💀😂😂
This is truly the honest bunch. Speaking your truth like no man's business. Omo!
That one don too truthful abeg 😂😂😅
This is one of the most disturbing conversation😅. She's either capping or the boyfriend is seriously disturbed and she is too.
The ending got me rolling on the floor. I’m speechless. Different people with there own fetish.
Yes I am also on this
My parents body shame me a lot.
I can be sleeping and she’d just wake me up and start shouting about my body.
She once told me the only way I’d meet anyone who would love me is if I loose weight.
She believed I don’t need sleep because I am over weight,
She deprived me from sleep and honestly it’s becoming depressing.
People do talk and I just laugh and let it slide but deep inside my mental health is shaken
So sorry you had to deal with that, especially from someone who was supposed to love you unconditionally and be your motivation. Just know it is coming from a place of ignorance. And you are worthy and beautiful
So sorry you had to deal with that, especially from someone who was supposed to love you unconditionally and be your motivation. Just know it is coming from a place of ignorance. And you are worthy and beautiful
This episode was 👍 great. Husband material's reaction at the end got me rolling on the floor😂😂he couldn't believe his ears
Love you guys all the way from Cameroon
Nice topic. Truth is this has been there even before civilisation. Clinically there is healthy weight and obesity. It's not about body shaming.
If you are in a particular height as a female or male there is a certain weight required. It's not body shaming, it's not about he is fat and flexible. Certain weight goes with certain disease, period.
Stay healthy guys.
It's everybody's expression at 58:23 for me 😄😄.
Love this episode though, you guys are doing a great job.
Dark skin was never a thing, Ezinne. Fair skin has always been the standard of beauty. Dark skin just started being a thing, and it's not widely accepted
we really need to talk about from the roots, starting from the family down to the schools then to the public we all really need to stop body shaming anybody. when you dont know their struggle. THANKS TO THE HONEST BUNCH GOD BLESS YOU GUYS
I’m very happy with the improvement on this episode 👏 Thank you for taking into consideration the idea I put out of allowing each “usual suspects “ have a separate time to speak at the beginning of the podcast😄 Everyone got a fair opportunity to share their opinions❤
Husband material lost it in the end…..Man was tired!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 Man was stressed😂
😂😂he was really tired.. he didn't even know what to say
You all made a very good point.
But I'll love u guys to talk about Technology/Luxuries too (iPhone and Android)
The competition these days is getting out of hand. If you're found using an Android in the society they will look down on you.
There are so many girls in ikorodu that sleep with guys just to acquire those things.
I will be so glad if you guys can create a topic about what Mr Nedu said about as a real man, what kind of wife should be determined to choose🙏🙏🙏
I tire like husband material 😅😅😅
Thanks for educating us on how to relate with different types of people in our society.
This podcast was super emotional.. bruh. There are obviously things people can improve on to become more attractive, if you don’t want to do it fine but you can’t complain of your results.
As we talk about body positivity concerning black skin..
Lets also talk about african hair and relaxing, wigs and etc because the west has also told you that straight hair is the beauty standard.
Goshhh, I have laughed and laughed cos of Husband's material..His facial expression was everything ...
You guys are doing a great job. This program is called "The honest bunch" please mind how you react when people are being honest or saying their truth. Besides, you discussed about body shaming, please start correcting it from here. Do not judge or react as though some things does not exist. Thanks for this episode.
Please can you invite old people from different tribs to discuss about some things that this our generation z is seeing as the right thing. I know it will be very interesting and educating as well. KUDOS!
Good lessons from todays podcast..keep the good work..Am in the Uk always waiting for Mondays
About "Body shaming" and "Mental Health" issues. Asides people that have life and death battles and the ones that were born with some disablity, I honestly feel we all need to tell ourselves the truth. We can build mental strength. The questions are "Why are you pressured to look a certain way? "Who dey tension you?" The point should be, how to build confidence to the point that there's nothing anyone will say that will affect you. Well... There are people that ate themselves to obesity and tell you they're depressed. They should actually hit the gym... There are consequeces for actions. But there's always a chance to fix your mess. But In all, let's be nice and polite to everyone. Especially If you don't know the person.
This channel helps a lot fr❤️❤️
I am a slim guy but e no get as you wan body shame me e no go affect me😂 I’ve been body shamed from primary school right out of secondary school😮💨 . People say things without knowing that they hurt someone or some just do it knowing fully well what damage it’s gonna cause 💔💔💔💔

Auntie Ezinne❤
I'm proud of u...I remember those Aba memories
What Monalisa said is totally uncalled for and sounds so untrue, but even if it were true, saying it was really not necessary. Even if it's the honest bunch, the only way to be honest sometimes is to seal your lips. Damn!!!
Hmmmm, this revelation by monalisa is alarming. Anyway amazing show keep the good work 🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪👍👍👍
Honestly you guys are really trying, and nedu too, that guy don date many girls ooh 😅😅. I love the way HM introduce you guyz, HM you dey tire, deitycode, you're too beautiful❤ I see you, well done ma, I notice Naomi has not been present for some time now, I really miss you😢😢. Husband material's introduction keeps getting better always😂😂
Nice one🙌🏽 keep it up guys👍🏽
I love ~hey stop that~ so well........
Nne onye ebi ka'ibü
Nedu will not kill me 😂😂😂😂😂. We can't hold the million people oooo.
Nedu my man, always the spice of the show 😂😂
My opinion is , in as much as we want to say it the way it is, we have to be mindful of the fact that people react differently to our "truth". We are all wired differently.
Having this discussion without a health/fitness expert is a big red flag
Their understanding of weight gain and weight loss is extremely flawed
Nedu says no matter how much he eats, he will never be bigger than that? 😂 He should try eating like the biggest person he knows
On the other hand, if your size is unconnected to your eating habits and lifestyle, please show me ab obese person in a country suffering from famine
I'm not here to bash anyone, but the information being spread needs to be accurate
You guys are doing well..Nice podcasts
First time to comment on this podcast. The bombshell frm Monalisa is red. I mean its unreal.
The end part tho... Omo! Goosebumps. That guy dey try.
Yo cool video, but y'all should put timestamps on your videos to make it easier to watch.
Husband material is speechless😂😂😂 oh myyyyyyyy
Waiting oo #honestbunch
To me the height of body shaming is becoming alarming to the extent people are having problem with themselves....yes we can monitor our body but any little thing you are getting fat ooo then you start taking this and that, undergoing dangerous processes.
we need to outgrow and be ourselves.
Cheers!
♥&💡
Husband material i dey always like your introduction 😂😂😂
Nedu no dey disappoint. These days people are too touchy. If you're fat, you're fat. It's the truth and not an insult.
Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen.
The phrase "Love is not enough" Is a widely spread phrase that I feel is wrong. (I recommend It should be a topic) Maybe the word there shouldn't be "Love" It can be "emotional attachment" or "the butterflies" or something. Because I feel many people have the wrong perception about the word. Breaking news, Love is a beautiful thing but It's not always beautiful. Love is sweet but It's also sacrifice. Love is giving. Look, you can't claim to love me expecting only the exciting things in a relationship, I can't claim to love you and I'm not ready to commit to you. I man cannot say he truly loves his wife and let her starve or turn her to a slave or beat her up. A woman cannot claim to love a man when she's there when he's rich and runs away when he's struggling. Love is commitment, It's understanding, It's acceptance, It's reasonable, It's compromise, It's honest, It's teachable... It's all encompasing. Finally Love is actually all you need. The question will be... Do you actually love this person to the point that you can give your life for that person? Typical example; Love from mother to child. That's natural and undiluted. Asides the natural one we can't control, for you to claim you truly love someone, It has to grow from somewhere. This is my view on love... The honest bunch can talk about it If they want, any other person with a different perception can share his/her view, I'm open to learn. But please o. It's NOT an arugument that "I MUST WIN"... So leggo.
During a woman's period, menstrual blood will contain mucus lining, bacteria, and uterine tissue. When drinking any blood, if it's disease-free, a small amount will not cause damage. But consuming more than a few teaspoons puts you at risk of iron overload, a potentially deadly condition called hemachromotosis.
It's Nedu's scarf for me😂😂😂😂
Na d end I have been waiting for 😂😂😂
Always making us proud ❤❤
I believe at some point husband material was seriously reconsidering his being on this podcast😂😂😂😂
I legit felt sorry for him…. He looked like he could be anywhere else 😂😂😂😂
Monalisa said the truth.couples do it and even more. It's about accepting ourselves. Do what suits you
Now I understand Monalisa, many didn’t watch the video till the end.
Hm was getting frustrated at the end 😅😅😅
