Love mine. Have had it for a couple of years. Haven't found anything it won't bust out from the rusty old Toyotas we own.
You answered my only question. Thanks!
My dad has one only problem he has is that his batteries are getting worn now because of his angle grinder sucking the juice out of them constantly and being on the e charge but other then that it nice for lugs and everything
Im a mechanic in the philipines, but i cant afford impact wrench like that .. impact wrench is my dream until now..
Bought one couple yrs back ; came with a free 5ah batt for good price. I like it ; no probs at all @mechanic yard needs
I had this tool briefly and I liked it however I do think all the modes are a bit gimmicky. You’ll have to read the manual to understand what each one does. To swap out wheels for example, you only need 1 or two modes the rest are useful if you’re in the construction industry. It’s also expensive.
I been beating the brakes off mine for almost 3 years. My detent pin is about worn out, but I can warranty the anvil anytime(I work for makita dealer)
Ok one question how much to rebuild one
Do you still get the warranty from Makita for an openbox drill purchased through eBay?
Yes it then goes by the date code on the tool. Never had an issue.
what the heck are all those names in the comments? tried looking up a few with nothing?
I dunno, they are spamming a lot of comments 24/7
My XWT-15 let me down lastnight. My brother got a flat tire on his Lincoln Navigator. He couldn't break 4 of the lug nuts off with the iron/wrench that came with the car. He called Me and I brought out the Makita XWT-15. The Makita could not break those lug nuts even with PB blaster sprayed all over them. 1st time I ran into this issue with the Makita. Called another friend of ours who brought out his old Milwaukee and he busted the lugs right off in the blink of an eye. I think for automotive, I am going to have to move on from Makita.
Just buy a Makita that will take them off! You can’t tell me my Makita TW002G wouldn’t have moved them, and expect me to believe it.
