No, why would it be only available on 40 series? Only Frame generation is exclusive to Ada 40 cards. Ray Tracing and Path Tracing can be obviously run on any RTX cards that have RT cores for it like the Turing 20 series and Ampere 30 series.
@@jozadagames6818 i was just asking, as that is what it says on the nvidia website for the path tracing SDK: "This path tracer leverages new hardware in NVIDIA GeForce RTX® 40 Series GPUs, allowing you to provide the highest-quality rendering modes with uncompromised performance." you can see how that text is misleading.
@@drunkhusband6257 yeah I worked that out after I made the message haha. Works smoothly now and without heating up. 40fps at 4k is the sweet spot for my rig.
@@alMighty8989 Yes, DLSS 3.5 consists of multiple components(DLSS super resolution temporal upscaling, Ray reconstruction and frame generation) and only FG is exclusive for 40 series
Yes, only 40 series, but DLSS 3.5 is like 3 things in one(DLSS super-resolution temporal upscale, Ray reconstruction, and Frame generation), and only FG is exclusive for the 40 series.
No, it is a high-end 80 series card with the same level of performance as the new 4070 and 7800xt and it was a 4K card just 1.5 years ago, but it lacks VRAM only 10 gigs but I could play many even new games at 4K native max settings and almost all with DLSS Q.
Without recording plus 2-3fps.
This opening Forest Area with Agent Casey is one of the most demanding in the game way more than NY with Alan.
Man the forest section is completely hammering the GPU
Именно так) Локация для тестов выбрана не верно.... в лесу эти показатели fps - можно на два смело делить)
RT ON - FPS OFF🤣
😂
Rt=marketing
Dumb comment, of course, is FPS drop. That's how Nvidia tries to sell you technology you don't need
@@Hairybarryy I need raytracing, problem is that we still dont have a game that uses full raytracing. Now its just addon to normal polygon graphics.
@@AndrewTSq no one needs ray tracing. It's pointless
Hello ! Do you notice any difference in quality between dlaa and dlss quality in 1440p ? On my side I cant tell the diffence
isn't path tracing available only on RTX 40 series?

needs an option to limit the amount of frames to a specified amount.
Why would you need that option you can set that in the Nvidia control panel...

Drop down to a 1440p or ultrawide 1440p and ditch that 4k, much better experience.@@purefoldnz3070
Hi! How did you enable DLSS 3.5 on 3080? Isn't it only for 40th series?
3.5 works on all the RTX cards, its 3.0 that only works on 40 series, so the Frame Generation stuff.
DLSS 3.5 is for every RTX-Card. Only Frame Gen can be activated on 40xx cards :)

It's similar to 1440p dlss quality

to be honest the RTX 3080 is a low end GPU now im not surprised its getting this level of performance on this game.
Since when is a rtx 3080 a low end graphics card?
Low end 😂
if 3080 is low end then 4070 is low end.

Either bait or a hopeless idiot.
