Haha damn thank you so much man. Had this monitor for the last 6 years and am just now going to mount it instead of keep it standing. Would have never figured this out without this video. And you only uploaded it a month ago! Thanks again.
This video was great! Can the angled back piece that holds the stand behind the monitor come off as well? It’s interrupting the tilt I need on my wall stand.
Actually you don’t need to remove the two screws. You can just wiggle it out like you did without removing. Good video, it did tell me what I was looking for, I just figured out that you don’t need to remove the screws.
just got a dual monitor arm for this monitor and another, only problem is the mounting holes for this one are at the very top, even with my arm all the way up its still super low, any suggestions?
I would never dared to apply so much force… thank you! I put a round edge slit screw driver on one side of the „slit“. Then you can use it as a kind of lever to snuggle it out all the way. Sheesh.
It should support. I have gotten rid of it. If you are looking some good quality monitor, Try Dell Ultra Sharp. It comes with the adjustable stand which can be moved up/down. You can find more about it in the video on my channel as well.
I wanted to remove all of the stand even the last part. Its in the way of the wall mounted thingy so i cant move the screen around to much cuz of that last piece still mounted..
TBH, I'd say NO. This is a good monitor but if you're hunting for the best, then try Dell ultra-sharp. I have made a video on that as well. You can check it out on the channel.
i know it's an old video but as a poor peasant who still has this type of monitor: keep the leg of the stand on, it's easier to pull from the whole leg than remove the base of the leg and break your wrist pulling only from that plastic slab
The base must have gotten stuck. Get rid of it and try DELL 4k Monitor. You'll love it. You can check out the video I have created on the channel. The video quality of that monitor is Extremely good.

It took me half an hour to figure this out. I thought, I'd destroy the monitor.
I'm glad video helped you out :) Cheers!
Hey how’d you manage to mount it? I can’t find a mount compatible with it
@@Ravinni yea looking into this now did anyone buy a mount for this monitor?
What mount I’ve been looking for one for ages
As a man who works out regularly, I had to use 2 hands and 2 feet to finally pull this thing off 😅
I don't know what the designer would have thought when he designed this horrible stand :D
Dude thanks for that idea! That actually did the trick, lol. Never thought I'd ever have to exert such excessive force on a piece of electronics :D
U are absolutely rught
Thanks for that! That's the only way I could that. What shit design! Damm!
Everyone is cursing to the poor stand 😂😂
I hope Samsung reads off all the comments before throwing a new model in the market.
Thank you so much. This was not intuitive at all and was panicking trying to pack it away before my moving van arrived
Your most welcome :) Cheers!
Thanks! Everyone else seems to have other monitors with screws, and i wasn't able to find how to remove this!
Glad if the video helped in any way : )
I had to use a flathead screwdriver to take that last part off. I worked and left no damage. Thanks
That's great. I am glad video helped.
Gracias!!! Saved
Me breaking my monitor!
Glad I could help! 😀
Thanks man! You have saved me a bunch of time!
Glad I could help!
Thank you! Was able to remove the stand after watching this!
Excellent!

Thank you my friend. I was struggling with this!
Glad I could help : )
I was trying to do it for half an hour. Thanks!!!!
Lol! Yes, taking it out is a little tricky.
This video was great! Can the angled back piece that holds the stand behind the monitor come off as well? It’s interrupting the tilt I need on my wall stand.
Nope. I don't think it comes out. I guess its fixed.
@@techfootreviews Believe me when I tell you I took a grinder to it. Problem solved 😂😂
OMG!!! 😂😂😂😂 Yes, that's another way to get rid of this filthy fellow. lol!
@@ETHachi ha ha same very statisfying ;)

Thanks for watching it. Yes, you are right.
Screw removal is only necessary, if you got to to put the parts back to the box.
Hugely helpful for my move! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
You've solved a life mystery
Hahaha. Thank you : )
just got a dual monitor arm for this monitor and another, only problem is the mounting holes for this one are at the very top, even with my arm all the way up its still super low, any suggestions?
No idea! Sorry, I wish I could help.
Wooden plate between the mount and the monitor to amend for the height difference
I would never dared to apply so much force… thank you!

So true. They have made such a terrible design.
When you try to pull it off, it feels like you are gonna break the leg. lol!
Thank you so much, I was confused but now its off.
You're welcome!
Perfect video
Thank you
You're welcome! 🙂
THANK YOU FOR THIS!
You're welcome : )
Ok it helped by putting the main foot on and using that to pull as well. That was tough.
Glad it helped!
Mine won’t come off. Will put the foot back on to see if that helps. Ugh! Just want it off!
Lol! That's better than using the girder. Somebody was planning to cut it off.
I am loving reading all the comments here 😂😂
This was so helpful, thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thanks : )
Does this monitor support vesa I can’t seem to find out?
It should support. I have gotten rid of it. If you are looking some good quality monitor, Try Dell Ultra Sharp. It comes with the adjustable stand which can be moved up/down. You can find more about it in the video on my channel as well.
You save me with this video!!!!
Haha. Thanks :)
Thanks. Finally got it off, took a lot of force
Yes, it's the most annoying stand ever. I am glad that video helped.
It's work for me, thanks!❤
You're welcome!
Awesome thank you!
You're welcome!
1:16 is where I'm stuck the stand arm doesn't budge after I bend it back to the max
If it's already bent to its maximum, simply apply some force to pull it off, and it will come off.
Thanks this really helped
Glad it helped
@@noahvaldes3515 yea bro thanks

Removing the last part with wall-mounted would be a bit challenging.
I wish we could help with that.
Thank you bro
Any time
THX!!!
Video was helping but I’ve been pulling at the last rectangle for a day now and it isn’t coming off
Thanks man
How do you remove the last bit that protrudes from the back.
u found out?
What do I do with the metal that the plastic was covering?
Nothing, maybe just leave it like that.
You can remove it, if you want to, but there's no point of doing it.
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Life saver bro
Thanks dude!
Thank you for this.
Any time :)
good job!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
OMG. Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
What monitor is that?
Will it fall if you put it on a desk without any stand ?
Pls answer
Yes, definitely it will.
@@techfootreviewseven if I tilted it against a wall
I believe it will still fall. Even the slightest shake on the floor or table could cause it to fall.
Thanks!
Welcome!
Thanks
You are welcome : )
but how do you take that last stub off
Last tiny stub doesn't come off as per my memory. This is how exactly it is packed when purchased.
Thank you so much!!!!!!1
You're welcome!
Is this monitor still worth it in 2023?
TBH, I'd say NO. This is a good monitor but if you're hunting for the best, then try Dell ultra-sharp. I have made a video on that as well. You can check it out on the channel.

I can't take it off, what should I do?
Have an angry drink first, then give it another shot! :D
Unfortunately, this is just how it is.
Ya this thing is not coming off
Pull it harder. It will come off.
As a female I wanna say FU Samsung I can’t remove it with my strength 😊 LG does it way better. They have a button you press it and it releases
lol! For newer models, they might be doing something better.
Mine isn't coming out
Shake it a little hard while pulling it out, It will come out.
My monitor sucks not opening
Re watch the video, you might get the clue
Pain in the ass
Yes, it's bit tricky.
Guys its so hard😂
Hard? Terribly hard. Most safest and strongest stand on Earth!
Bad design
Indeed. New models would probably have better design.
Thank you. Very helpful
Glad it was helpful! Thank you : )
