- Words could not adequately convey the repulsiveness of the thing. It was endowed with a trunk and great, uneven ears, and two enormous tusks protruded from the corners of its mouth. But it was not an elephant. Indeed, its resemblace to an actual elephant was, at best, sporadic and superficial, despite certain unmistakable points of similarity. The ears were webbed and tentacled, the trunk terminated in a huge flaring disk at least a foot in diameter, and the tusks, which intertwined and interlocked at the base of the statue, were as translucent as rock crystal.

I have my own YT channel, and the one thing that is a constant is that the more views you get, the more likely it is that some asshole will make an asinine, un-thinking comment.
They want what they want, they assume that YOU, as the uploader are withholding it from them on purpose, and they will bitch about getting whatever they want, ignoring the fact that the world doesn't revolve around THEM.
A lot of narcissistic viewers out there.

I'm just here to remind the people complaining that text to speech software isn't AI. AI is currently a buzzword used for generative collating software which lacks any sort of memory, internal states or actual understanding of its contents. As such, what is called AI in modern business is merely a Chinese Room type of program and text to speech software has very little to do with it.
Sure, you can dislike it due to any number of issues, but it isn't AI. While I can see how this tool can be seen as taking human jobs away, this channel in particular publishes a broad and deep array of Lovecraftiania basically no one else does. I'm pretty tired of the many channels re-reading the same Lovecraft stories over and over again, this channel ironically enough feels less like a soulless clone than many live readers on RUclips.
For a tts reading, this is really good. Great choice on the voice
