Hi made it to the end, I was more or less planning to delete my level 16 puncture twisting blades rogue and u proved to me it does get more fun down the line thanks
I had something like this starting out via suggestion of a friend, but this guide completely fleshed out the build and let me know what to go for even with my own touch. ty.
I went with the rouge and want to main it but I have no clue what I am doing because this is my first diablo game that I am playing so this video is going to come in handy so thank you
Good video. I just started my rogue a couple hours ago. I've been working towards the same path. This is the first I've looked outside of the game. I was looking for early speed and realized I was using a lesser basic. Kudos!
I'm currently on Rogue lvl 14 with a Crossbow+Swords combo. Use part of the shadow build + spamming multishot while dashing out of danger zone. It clears groups pretty fast on Veteran. Someone should deffinetly look into such a combo build.
The video is so hard to follow if youre trying to coppy the build. your explination of the tree is just jumping all over and not showing the tree for more than .05 seconds...
I agree tho. Even with the pause it’s not very clear what all skills he has set and what level they are set to. Not crazy just feel like it would be a better video overall if it had a freeze frame of each section without his curser over sections and what not
awesome build and I was able to do it at afdter doing 2 or 3 yelow quests that unlocked those 2 dungeons that give u the aspects to complete the build, all in all its freakin awesome, with my clone I can have huge burst and down enemies that with my poison build took alot longer, thanks alot bud!
Lotta fun. Just have to get down the button sequence but so far just mashing is working out great. Can fine tune with sequence and addl' upgrades. Working on gear/weapons to further build.
I plan on making a Rouge my main for a good while at least. But I haven't seen anyone try to make the frost archer work quite yet. Everyone (alot of top streamer builds) is focused on twisting blades with shadow imbued. I did like how you tried to boil the build down to is baser elements so that the build is not hard to get working for you. That's nice, alot of content creators have gone way too in depth with some builds requiring dozens of itemized/required boosts or enchantments.
Rolled rogue and started this build and I was second guessing rolling rogue since I had so much fun in Necro on test weekends. After this though I think I'll stay Rogue for now. Hoping for Paladin in the future.
I am going with the other upgrade on TB (enemies are dazed) which just chain cc's enemies untill they die. Can be combined with affixes 1. core skils % dmg 2. % dmg to dazed 3. % dmg to CCed enemies. Totally blasts. I found an leg aspect on dagger which buffs combo points spec a lot (ur primary can immediatly give 3 charges and every combo point boosts dmg for around 25%). Idk why so little builds with combo points. Imo they are fine. Nice video gl in further farming
Sorry at level 16 after poison trap ench poison trap and countering poison trap which points i must choose. I need 2 points for continue with the build
Excellent video thank you! Some insightful comments as well - quick question: you learned Poison Trap but never actually assigned it as a Skill in your skill tree … so how is it used then?? Thx!
Can you share your skill tree I am struggling to maintain the shadow imbuinent and the energy used for twisted knives. Maybe I am doing it wrong or not using my skills in the correct order
This looks fun, I might have to try it! Right now, I'm running a bow build with caltrops, poison trap, and stealth. Enemies never have chance to really touch me and just melt before they ever do. Such a fun, versatile class!!!!
im new to diablo. im using rouge, the 2 dagger on the bottom right can only be use if i buy the skill for it right? coz right now my character does crosbow and arrows. so i need to grab the skill? and even tho you dont use the other weapon its still a buff for your character?
I played rogue in beta and chose rogue to play with and this is going to be so helpful..i got wise to some of it before watching this video but am going to implement ..i also find that the rwpid fire bow skill is massively helpful as i use it as cover also whike closing in to throw them off. 😊
I'm only level 17 I'm maxed out forceful arrows and then penetrating shot and skipped over the agility and got dark shroud and poison trap and poison imbuement . That's all the points I have so far I'm really curious how he got the knives to circle around his body or am I just seeing dark shroud? Trust me I've went through every possible build with the 17 points I have , and I'm about to try his build with the points that I have, I won't be able to get everything but I did figure out if you completely max out your basic and Core skills it definitely makes it easier versus trying to fill in all the boxes with an ability and it makes it a little bit easier to play when I only have 3 abilities to use . Also for new players like me look at your weapons and see what perks they have mine have poison perks that's why I went with a poisonous set-up
I also started rogue as my main. Only lvl 12 so far. I'm unsure if I'm upgrading in the correct direction so I just been focused on upgrading my basic attacks
@@jayman9168 I made the same mistake I’d branch out a bit get the dash and back stab along w twisting blades or whatever it is you’re thinking of getting I tried to just focus on my basic and core and immediately changed it
Great build, but man is does keep you on your feet. If you like to just hit a couple buttons, this is not the class for you. Expect to be flying around like a ninja all the time. Boss fights are nearly impossible to die on with all your abilities being used. So far, this is my favorite class.
Yep, this is just a rogue thing tbh. I'm playing something thats basically different and requires even more mobility. Using Barrage that also requires shadow imbuement. Dropping poison traps for 30% imbuement reset, then using shadow step to try and reset the poison trap. When you can get the combos off it really shines. But definitely can get scary in some of the dungeons with too many mobs. I think gear will definitely help. I've found a legendary that drops aoe stuns every time we dodge or use an agility skill which really helps with high density mobs. ngl I think its probably the most button intensive class in the game.
Thank you for the build. I hate skilltree and D4 is no exception, in D3 we could try a build and swap skill as we liked now it's just reset skilltree to try a new build to see what i liked and what works it became exhausiting
I went with poison trap and shadow step without even looking up any guides, the synergy they both have is so fucking fun lol single target damage is stupid
Maybe a stupid question. But what is causing the blades to rotate around your character? I’m assuming it’s an attack. I just started a rogue as a secondary character with a few of my friends but I’m not that far with him so idk what that attack is.
It is a special passive that only comes from obtaining a legendary armor piece or weapon, it is NOT part of the skill tree. You can also get the special passive via a dungeon. Watch the full video to the end where he talks about your gear and you will see. Hope this helps :) happy demon slaying
Curious question to the community....
