Hi there. I've really enjoyed all of your videos that I've watched so far but I was wondering if you could please help me with a function I'm trying to perform. In short, I have a set of scores, recorded at different distances (set integer values) however these scores are sometimes graded out of three possible totals. Can you please advise/refer me to the best excel formula for my situation. Many thanks! Keep the videos coming.
Thank you Sam. If I understand your question correctly I think a VLOOKUP being used for the range lookup would work. I have a video here - ruclips.net/video/ddBIEhryTwM/видео.html
This demonstrates it to provide discounts based on amount ordered, but this can easily be adapted to work with scores and totals instead.
Great Work, Learnt a lot. Fantastic Job!! please keep up the good :)
Thank you very much 😊
Really helpful, thank you
You're very welcome. Thanks, Wesley.
Hello thank you so much for this amazing video, but i’m just a little confused of why on the IT formula it’s F5 instead of F4 ? Please help me out please thank you!
F5 is the adjacent cell to the formula containing the word "IT". Column F contains the subjects with are averaging scores for. Each subject is to the left of the formula.
thank you, bro, very helpful
You're welcome. Thank you, Johnny.
This is great! What if I want 2 conditions? For instance, if there was another column for grade level, and I wanted to know the Average score for French Grade 8 students and the average for French grade 9 (and so on for each language and grade level.
Thank you, Edward. Sure, you can use the AVERAGEIFS function to handle multiple conditions in the same way.
Sir will you please explain the "Average sum for a specific date range in excel" if you made any video on it please give me a link.
