@MyachaCh the vocals in 13's Reborn are HEAVILY hardcore influenced, also some of the quicker riffs and the absence of solos and the melodic sound present in modern post-hardcore. Satoshi might have been made famous by some of his growls, specially live, but the vocals on the first album are 100% hardcore shouting. You can't really compare 13's reborn to, let's say, As I Lay Dying (post-hardcore/melo death influenced metalcore) but you CAN compare it to Metallic Hardcore closer to Converge, Kublai Khan TX or EVEN heavier sounding punk like Gallows. HELL, even some songs from the self-titled sound right at place next to All We Love We Leave Behind. Things is, those first albums were mixed like SHIT. Anyways, the only Nu-Metal sounding GRGM album is MUSIC.
