To know the highest point on the map, are we to consider only the highest contour line or highest spot height or both?

Please what if the question says you need to draw a contour map showing a river valley and mountain spur ,how do we draw that?

@@fish9529 to me the way I read the contour interval is when we have a contour of 100 150 200 250 then the contour interval will be 50 but not counting does small lines in between the thick contours
