I grew up watching all the Glen Larson shows, Battlestar Galactica, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman Even Columbo and Quincy, but Knight Rider is one of the shows that stands out for me.
Wasn't really a fan of season 2, but it is one of Rebecca's best performances.
Love that photo of Gary Coleman and David Hasselhoff aka Michael Knight.

Not to brag, but I wrote a poem called Night Rider back in high school. This was during the eighties, so I wonder if the creators of Knight Rider stole it for inspo. Anyway, Rbecca is definitely the All American Woman to me!

We loved Knight Rider in our family. I wanted my own kR car. I remember my brothers & their friend would jump over to the TV whenever a Breck girl commercial played. 😂

Trying to come up with a story where the Six Million Dollar Man was moved into the 80s, Rebecca Holden's character from Knight Rider worked for the OSI, and Steve's bionics were Knight Industries based.

David Was Upset that Patricia McPherson got Fired from Season 2 and wanted Patricia back for Season 3!! It was different not seeing Patricia in Season 2. I remember Rebecca from Three's Company
One of my favorite shows Dave loved the knight rider awesome car such a cool show Rebecca Holden was a beauty she fit right in there with kitt and Michael I remember her in a threes company episode she goes out with Jack and Larry love it she was the stuff Dave

ok fun fact, may be a bit common for true fans...but the voice of KARR in the first appearance..."trust doesn't rust" was...i believe the voice of autobot hero commander optimus prime.

Another great video Dave. Loved Knight Rider when it aired over here in the UK. And I much preferred Rebecca Holden to Patricia McPherson. April Curtis was a much more likeable character than Bonnie Barstow.

David, The Knight Rider Historians channel just did an interview with Rebecca. William Daniels was not shown in the credits because he did not want to be credited for his role on the show.

If I am not mistaken, KnR began to decline in ratings in spite of the 'restoration' of the original mechanic (disclosure: I myself have never gotten around to viewing beyond the second season of the action drama).
William Daniels didn't want credited.
Back then i was in a store parking lot and two little girls departed from their parent(s), went up to a Trans Am and started saying, "Hi K.I.T.T!" and it looked like they wondered why he wouldn't talk back haha. Then i think their mother called them back.

There were multiple "hero cars", and there was just a single train derailment, but that train had multiple Trans-Ams that Knight Rider got cheaply. Unfortunately, all of the train derailment cars were required to be destroyed after Knight Rider ended its run. The channel Knight Rider Historians has HOURS of videos about all the various cars, and they even own a couple of them and the truck that served as FLAG's mobile HQ.

Hey lost my phone and just got another one yesterday and had to get a new email address and have to rebuild subscriptions. Sure did like Rebecca on Knight Rider.

Aka Jerry Gillespie Dave did you ever do a segment on the guy who was Kitt on Knight Rider William Daniels? He had a great career with other shows including the Nancy Walker Show, St Elsewhere, and Boy Meets World. He was also in the TV movie with Elizabeth Montgomery called A Case of Rape. I think he's known best as John Adams in the Broadway Show and movie 1776. In fact the high school in Boy Meets World is called John Adams high in his honor

I watched Knight Rider religiously. Same for the original Battlestar Galactica. In the 80's Glen Larson could do no wrong.

Only one question though: which is: Why is the (I imagine the K.I.T.T. car) parked quite obviously in a clearly delineated "Accessible Parking" space?
