This is the only few rare instances where Chopin had composed a Cadenza, and marked it a Cadenza. I also realized that this prelude is one of many examples of Chopin being ahead of his time. Very, very fascinating.
I feel certain that Rachmaninov loved this piece and was influenced by it. I discovered Rachmaninov's music before I discovered Chopin, so the first time I heard this, Rachmaninov came to mind, really uncanny.
Err yes !! I am sure many pianists on here play this prelude, as I do, it should not take 12 years to learn 😮 There is a pleasure in listening to others interpretations I find myself, without the need to big yourself up. Distasteful. Note, there is no evidence of her playing anything on her channel, but I do not post either, but curious if she is playing around the world, you would post 😂 @@gabrielvelasquez4516
Too not to!!! Are you sure? Because actually there is a pleasure in listening to others pianists playing without a need to compare, or put yourself high. You play it for us to.listen too and put it on here and see how nice it feels to hear people put you down.. but 8 scroll.9n if nothing nice to say. Everyone is on their own jouney. His cadenze was beautiful. Diff fro. Mine, but beautifully more low key than mine, so I may being mysrlf in a bit sensitive I also play the preludes (12 years to do what?) But I think pianists are all students of the composer they are playing, interpretation and emotions, humility ( you couod learn a touch?). like Lang Lang, is precious, being kind to each other and pushing each other to have confidence is very important to me as a teacher and musician. 🙌 nemaste 🙌🎹🎹🎹

Like hearing the music for the first time.

Beautiful. The rest before the cadenza was breathtaking. A thousand thanks for not doing crazy classical piano player arms/hands.
Thank you
That is a mesmerising piece of music and and as close to perfect a performance as I've ever heard. Absolutely beautiful.

The meaning of Life is encoded in that music,,, played by that mind,,

Not Chopin is playing here. Yoav Levanon addet much feelings from himself. I love his Interpretation.
It’s Chopin himself 😂
When Jesus christ plays piano
