I'm still mad that they didn't give this show the proper final season it deserved.

Does anyone know where I can find the footage recorded during the episode when Kate Rowan is dies?. I remember seeing a home video of the filming of a scene from the episode "Thief in the Night" where Greengrass is getting angry at the young chap who is helping David siphon off petrol from cars. It was filmed in front of the village shops and shows Bill Maynard doing retakes with the bloke with his Mark 2 Jag, at one point we see Bill enter one of the shops. I remember seeing this footage a few years ago and I've searched everywhere on youtube but can't find it anywhere now. The other video showing the filming of the 97 Christmas special can be found. Maybe the person who recorded and uploaded the video has deleted it, but I definitely remember seeing it.

Is there any filming footage from Series 14? This is Series 13, but I assumed that they would have been filming Series 14 in early 2004 when Series 13 was going out on TV.

Never seen this before, rare to see any behind the scenes footage of Heartbeat, I think there's only one or two videos on youtube and they are mostly from the later series when it went downhill. I find it strange that there isn't more footage filmed by members of the public especially when they were filming in Whitby where it's usually crawling with people, or maybe there is but they probably don't want to upload the videos. And I'm guessing none of the locals bother to video any of the action with their camcorders. It was always a real pain in the arse trying to find out when and where they were filming, often locals wouldn't tell you and would fob you off. Would've loved to have seen the filming of the train crash episode from series 3.
Never heard of of a steam loco named Repton, is that actually Lord Nelson?.

Hi. Yes Repton is the locos real name, the class was named after schools. I have a lot more film to upload of behind the scenes yet. It was always much simpler to take still. Film is very rare as they stopped all filming during takes and asked that no still are taken as well. I took I ages for the local paper which gave me an advantage.

@@RTTVProductions Thanks for that. I did get to see an early series episode being filmed from series 6 when Nick was still in the show, filmed at the police house at Askwith where Nick's London mate Errol is on the run and ends up in Aidensfield. They filmed a short scene which took ages to film at the front gate and the side of the house, then later filmed Nick's mum arriving in a taxi to see Elieen Kate's aunt. Then they filmed at the back where Nick's talking to nurse Maggie Bolton (very short scene on screen but took awhile to film), and it was a pretty chilly June afternoon. The crew were pretty OK about the public filming but not the final take. That's the only time we ever got to see filming of the earlier series as it was like trying to win the lottery trying to find out filming details. We also got to see two scenes from series 17 or 18 being filmed, one outside the public with Gina and her baby's pram, and another a few months later outside Scripps' garage where two young lads drive up in their green Triumph TR4 sportscar. By that time they were putting filming date notices up on the visitors car park gate which they would never have done in the earlier series, no idea why. I remember the village shop having a "Save Heartbeat" petition for people to sign which my dad did, but obviously that was a waste of time as it soon got axed, which I suppose was inevitable as it run its course for me.

Main reason for it getting axed was the Yorkshire T.V and many other regional channel all got closed down and moved to the larger area ,Yorkshire been Manchester and that end all film from Leeds meaning the end of Heartbeat and any comedy filmed at Leeds and all the studio work. Thanks for your comments.
