  • This video will show you how to make your own waste-proof, rain-proof chicken feeder using the feeder ports from RevolutionaryChicken.com. You just need a box or container, and a 3 1/2" (90mm) hole saw, and you can make your own chicken feeder, using as many or as few ports as you want.

    fyi, i seen someone else use the hole saw in reverse and it left a cleaner edge, good job on the "ports"

I'm not sure if you guys are making much of a profit but thanks and if it works well, ill probably order another. we'll have 2 runs set up, one for about 12 Light Brahmas and 10 easter eggers (and 2 turkeys).

      Thank you for your comment. And I hope it works for rats--but I actually only make the claim that it helps with mice. Other similar feeders, such as the one by Rent-a-coop, claim that it discourages all rodents. I just don't want to assume it does if I haven't tested it specifically for rats.
