what is DPC (DAMP PROOF COURSE ).DPC kya hai aur kaha use krte hai aur kaise use krte hai..agar dpc nhi banana hai to kya krna hoga ,aur kya problem hote hai DPC nhi banane se... thanks..

Hi, please advice ,
1) Is it necessary to provide plinth beam in load bearing brick structure.
2) is it necessary that Bottom level of plinth beam should keep higher from Natural Ground level.

i want to ask if our site has three faces covered with already built houses and we dont know that if they have their soil above dpc or below dpc so what we do because if their soil is above dpc then the moisture should come from that side.
please tell the solultion for that particular situation because i have to start my own house dpc work in few weeks.

Good message,but sir I want to know can we lay plinth beam on compacted sand,(without bricks wall for below support )but those sand compacted by manually and water also around side covered by outer wall 250 mm.

Water is seepaging from neighbour's Brick Foundation wall (Aasar) to my My Foundation Brick wall in parallel manner and moving to upward with wall.
How to stop this type of seepage while both walls are already stand with each other?

in certain areas people use 6 inch plinth beam of PCC instead of DPC and some use 4-5 layers of marble in place of DPC what is your suggestion on this ?
Plinth beam ke uppar brick work se pehele DPC dalana jaruri hai ? Ya me brick work direct suru kar sakta hu on plinth beam.
