Just came across your video, really enjoyed it as I've got a 94 Chevy Z71 that I'm working on now. Gave me a lot of good ideas, thanks.

My grandfather gave me his 93 GMC Sierra 1500, stepside bed, pretty much a pristine body, I plan on lifting it a few more inches, and putting a simple set of custom rims on. I want to do something cheap, yet show worthy, and I plan on keeping this truck a long while, so any suggestions? This truck has also had the engine swapped for a 350 tbi

Please please get patch panels to fix your rust. Bondo and fillers hold moisture possibly worsening your cab corners :(

What manual transmission and differential oil does it take? I have a Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup year 1995, 305 tbi 5.0-liter 8-cylinder engine, 238 thousand kilometers and I don't have the vehicle manual, they are the same models from 1988 to 1995

I put synthetic 80W90 gear oil in mine but you can also put, 75W90 gear oil in it

center your trailer loads over the axle and you wont be using all of your rear suspension. this will also keep you from getting trailer death wobble.

I love these trucks as well they're one of the best built trucks ever made I own one. But I do suggest not doing a body suspension lift just for the fact I did that to my truck and I lost my gas mileage that'd be my only reasoning

I still got my dad's 94 Chevy K1500 with the 5.7 Lt. 350 V8 engine and is my daily driver with just over 90 000 original miles and is all original but the cloth dash cover to protect the original dash board and still has the stock AC/Delco am-fm radio with working cassette player as well and it does need a coat of lip stick so just maybe I'll get the whole truck Rhino Lined so it'll last me the rest of my life for I'm 59 going on 20 years young !!!!

Badass truck. I had a 98. I bought it not knowing it had been sitting for about 6+ months. 6” lift , micky Thompson tires & some dope industrial looking rims. Drove it 150 miles home & On my way to work the next day the lug nuts on the left rear broke off on the highway & multiple things after. Still regret getting rid of it despite the money pit it was. Next truck I get will be a much cleaner obs. Love your truck tho super clean

    Great looking truck.
There will come a time when you want a different or new truck, my advice is to keep this at that time. You'll regret trading it in 20 years later.

Just bought my 93 today. For living in Michigan there’s virtually no rust. 95,000 miles. I’m in love already. Not sure what I’ll do with the old cat eye but you can’t go wrong with an old chevy

    • @hernandezmancera8421

95,000 miles! That's badass down in Texas you'll lucky to find one with 120,000 miles on it

That’s a solid truck right there. If you do decide to do paint my advice it to have it done right. Don’t do it yourself with rattle cans you’ll regret it. Take it to a body shop and have it done right or wait until you can afford it.

awww i love it! i got my white 93....same truck ive seen your vidoes before, since i bought my shit back in 2016 ive yet to see anyone with a 350 paired to a nv3500 in a silverado trim... there cant be more then a few of these things rolling around. man go after that engine, we bought a cam and heads with a new manifold from eldelbrock 2 years ago. you can find 906 vortec heads out of any junk yard as long as there not cracked for 50$ and find a good machinist. they have intakes for tbi to vortec and thats a soild 25hp a better cam and fuck bro you'll have a great runner. 318hp at 372tq from a cam and heads with a more aggressive tune is what i got out of pretty much stock TBI with a fuel pump off a LT4.

I'd definitely hold on too this truck, I'm 37 and being 16 in 1999 these were the only trucks you could get that were still in good shape. I had a 91 k2500 single cab 8ft bed it looked exactly like your dads. I was dumb and sold it. It's still on the road and I'm trying to buy it back. But if your use to your 93 you will not like the new trucks. I bought a 95 k1500 in 2015 that had 80,000 and I still drive it I'm slowly buying things from lmc truck parts to fully restore it. But great video it reminds me in 99 when I first could drive. First thing I did was put 2 flow masters on the truck.
