How I made Glamrock Freddy's head (Part 2)

  • I hope this video has helped you in your crafting journey! Please tag me on anything you make as I'd love to see!
Freddy's FREE head files are here: www.dropbox.co...
    Material list:
-PPE (a dust and fume mask, gloves, and long sleeves)
    - Spray primer or car body filler primer
    - Hand sanding paper from 80-800 grit (optional)
-Strong glue (I like to use superglue or two-part epoxy glue )
-Acrylic spray paints (you can use enamel but they tend to be more expensive and you can't use them on foam so I don't often buy them).
-LOW TACK - masking tape. I recommend 'green frogs tape' if you have the budget if not make use you get low tack.
-Clear non yellowing gloss spray paint (use right at the end of colouring the parts).
-Sponge / upholstery foam to fill the gap where your chin goes
    - Two pieces of fabric elastic for either side of the jaw
If you have any questions I will try my best to reply [although I am just one person, please forgive me if it takes me a while or I didn’t see your comment!].
And again if you would like to see more NON-3d print builds please let me know in the comments. This and next year I’m going to really try to push my RUclips as it is something I’ve always wanted to do
    More videos soon !!

    Two big questions I have!
Could be get a more in depth on how the jaw attachment process is?
my even bigger question is… THE EYESSSSS!!! I’ve been looking everywhere 😭 between the movement and the LEDs I’m dying to know how it’s done!
Thank you for these videos and you really do inspire a lot of us!! This video alone has got me to start making my own Freddy head 😂 love what you do!!!

And the head model itself has many bugs, but at least it’s free :|

@@mariklove_3D we are actually in the process of making all the glamrocks for an up coming short film we are doing with a few other production company's. All i can say for the eyes are you will need a lot of electrical component's, i have seen first hand everything that goes into it. and you could find tutorials on how other people make them, but you are going to run into issues such as, Having to manually control the eyes yourself through a remote system when you need your hands to be free. You said it yourself, eyes are a huge secret in cosplay, people do not like "revealing the magic" but My advice is do a lot of research, and find people who have Electronic Knowledge for mechanical stuff like this. another option would be reach out to a hobby store that sells RC parts. the eye designs we went with require 4 smaller servos, which rc stores sell the parts you'll need.

If printing in pla, be careful not to ever leave your curing parts or finished pieces in direct sun or summer heat for too long! Ive ruined prints by not taking the suns path into account while curing outdoors, they basically start melting. I think ill do this kinda stuff in petg when I get started for the added robustness!
