Just a small footnote, my understanding is that "Dhamma" is Pali and is mainly used by Theravadin Buddhists, while "Dharma" is Sanskrit and is used often by Mahayana Buddhists and Vajrayana Buddhists. Having studied from both sources, I consider them to be equally valid.
