Any problems with CV boot interference? Also will i need to replace any other parts like upper control arm or tie rod end??? Is the suspension system in general harmed by this tweak in the long run? Really want this but don't want to cause any problems.
No nothing will be harmed 2" is minimal lift after 3" thats when its recomemded to get a upper control arm thats what i been told i also got a leveling kit but mine was 2.25 procomp lift
We have not had any issues with boot interference with the kit properly installed. No other components were replaced, all still retain the factory parts. We like the extra lift, that allowed us to install the larger tires. Gave the truck a good stance.
@@raptor074 ...Hi Alej, I am considering buying the pro-comp 2.5 lift kit and having it installed professionally. Everything I tried to find out said there should be no problems with the use of the 2.5 kit. what is your take on this. I will not be towing anything except maybe a rental trailer for my motorcyle to the dealership if it needs service. I feel that that the 2.5 lift in the front is just enough clearance it needs, and of course it will look better level with the rear of the truck.
What about for off-road use? I’ve read some comments on a few other videos saying these type of kits with the spacers on the bottom will tear boots when off-roading.
I just installed this on a 2020 Sierra 4x4. This video or the instructions say nothing about disconnecting the sway bar end link. Trust me it’s almost impossible to line up bolt holes
I've seen other videos of people not taking off the knuckle on some leveling kits like this and just taking off the sway bar link. Do you have to take off the knuckle to fit this spacer in or not really?
Complete removal of the upper control are was not needed but we did have to remove it from the knuckle to allow a bit more room. to get the spacer in place.
If you are referring to the spacer block for the rear, then yes that is possible. If you are trying to use both spacers for the front, unfortunately that is not possible.
@@bobbyjones7750 I’ve got 285/75/17 cooper at3 xlt’s on mine and they will barely scrub in reverse when new at full lock. My wheels are method nv-305 0 offset.

The kit that is available for the Trail Boss and AT4 models provides a better ball joint angle to prevent any premature wear. This kit might work but the strut geometry would be slightly off for the Trail Boss and AT4 models.
@@PhastekTrucks thank you for your quick reply.....I was a little concerned about my cv axel not the upper control arm. Thanks again! I just put this on yesterday.
@Andre G If you received a bolt that is defective we are more then willing to reach out to ReadyLIFT and get you new hardware. Non of the bolts should be rounded, they should all be unused and in new condition.
The maximum we would suggest would be a 33. Any larger then you would run into major clearance issues. We still ran into clearance issues with the 33 tires but simple adjustments and we are clear.
No, the Trail Boss models require a different kit. Reach out to our sales team and they can get the correct kit lined up for you. 855-742-7835 or sales@phastek.com

Alej C what truck do you have and could you link your 2.25? I want that for my 2020 rst 4wd but don’t know if it fits
What about for off-road use? I’ve read some comments on a few other videos saying these type of kits with the spacers on the bottom will tear boots when off-roading.
I can't find the exact part you installed on the link you provided, all I see is upper strut parts . Not the lower strut part in the video.
Same exact truck I have so this video is helpful thanks
Glad we could help!

Does this fit a 2021 silverado 2wd custom crew cab
Why loosen top spindle nut, won't the lower control arm drop enough by itself?
Yeah thinking same thing. All you need to do it drop the lower bolts on the strut and your good.
Did you guys have to remove the sway bar link as well? Thanks in advance
Yes drop it, if not your gonna fight like crazy to get it in there.
Do you know the torque specs for every nut/bolt you removed/loosened? I can’t seem to find them 🤦🏻♂️
I installed a moto fab 2.5 kit just like that and I can’t tell if they are making metal to metal noises while driving
What about if i put trailboss strut on this exact model. And like to add 1 inch leveling kit blocks? Works?
Do a 2021 Sierra 1500 Denali. It’s rare I see a Denali with a 2” in leveling kit all these are slt or sle models.
Upper control arms ?
I have a 2019 TrailBoss 5.3 would I be able to use this on it?
I already have 33”s. But I assume I could still add 2” if I did an install?
If you truck is not already lifted I do not see a problem with adding this.
Do you need to re-align the front end? Will this fit my 2021 1500?
An alignment is suggested. It should fit the 2021 1500 if you have the correct model.

The bolts that holds the leveling block looks very close to the CV boot. Will it touch on full turn? Will a Spacer block be better? Thanks

All the customers that have reported back to us have not had any issues. We have about 10k miles on our truck with this spacer and no problems.

No, the ride is maintained very well.
Is it recommended to get an alignment after installing the leveling kit?
It is suggested that an alignment be done just to be sure that everything is in line.
Yes you have to
Not needed but won't hurt getting it checked out..
Did you guys installed a kit on the back wheels too? And is the installation the same as the front? thanks!
Nothing was installed in the rear, this was only a front kit. A rear kit would require a different type of installation.
Is 4X4?
I'm interested in this lift guys. I was wondering do you need a wheel alignment after?
Yes, with any lift we do suggest an alignment just to be sure everything is tracking true and you dont have any premature tire wear.

Unfortunately not. This kit was designed for the factory suspension and depending on which 4" lift you have, it might not work as designed.
