Any acidic precut like lemon, lime or vinegar can end up cooking the sea food if your not careful with the amount you use. I like to use salt and a tiny squeeze of lemon when I clean mine.

With seafood I typically use citrus but if you want to vinegar i would use small amount and mix with water.
