Today starts my adventure into Datsun L24 swapping my 85 nissan 720 2wd. I'm heading to pick up the engine and a parts 4 speed this afternoon. I'd have never dreamt of tackling this project without your dedication to your channel man. Right as I was putting floors mounts and a firewall in my truck you were building the 620. Pissed me off you were done first but I've never been more inspired and it's not worn off.
It'll be a tight fit but I've found so much support wherever I've asked for info on parts it's unbelievable. The Datsun community is the best. From the guys at O'Reilly's to the rotsun forum and Even the engine seller.
PS say taduh more. Makes my soul happy.
For the first time in my 51 years on this earth I bought something from a RUclipsr , let alone comment on their channel. That speaks volumes in my book , well done Puddin. I love your videos. Thanks man.
Always cool to see Slick in his element. With his sheet metal skills, he could make a whole suite of armor for Sir Morticus.
Mr Slick is a humble wizzard of sheet metal.
That Slick 50 can mold that sheet metal like a real stud, The Tin Man.
And weld right by a gas filter 😂
Yes after watching puddin and slick on the metal work . I decided after waiting years for a guy to do metal work for me, to get on Facebook marketplace and find some metal working equipment. Found some 10 hour drive from my place . So after 24 hours on the road got home . Got some metal had a play around. Now ready to do some floor pans
Hope Bill shows up and rants about aliens and Area 51 again. I keep hoping for the Puddin, Bill, Slick Three Amigos or Three Stooges shirt.
Which episode was that!?
@@revnetdata prob 2 to 3 episodes before the truck winner came. Bill, Slick, and Puddin were talking in the shop and Bill went off on a tangent, to the amazement of Slick.
@@VicosI missed that. Bill is a hoot!
Bill is my spirit animal 😅
It was FN hilarious!!!!
I am impressed with the quality of your flooring in this car. I love how the panels are removable. You will be glad that you did it that way. Slick has some really good skills in metal working.
Slick is one heck of a good guy and a fine fabricator.
The two of you together is always a good combo.
It's the best part of a Monday. It's Puddin time.🎉
Every time.
Damned straight! Mondays Puddin Time all the way!
Don't apologize for putting out actual " getting 'er done " content. This has been one of yer best how too's in awhile. Lot's of folks get the courage to tackle their tougher projects after seeing it D.U.N. done pretty good by someone else. ( I mean Slick 😛) Just playin. Keep laying her out there Puddin 👍
Ya gotta love it when Puddin and Slick get together and the jokes start flyin...
I'm fascinated with the skill of Slick 50, and Puddin 😮
Love it when you and Slick work together
I have to admire Slick Fitty's skill with sheet metal - that is some fine work. now wear your ear protection. that floor is looking awesome - great work guys
Love the videos Puddin, was curious if Slick had a RUclips channel, if not he needs one. His metal fabrication talent is amazing and I’d love to watch him work more
Really cool of slick to come help. It's hard to find friends like that anymore.
This thing is really shaping up to be something awesome. Really loving the channel and I’ve enjoyed watching you grow.❤
I love when you was slick work together nothing like working on the hot rod with your buddy two heads are better than one especially when you were chasing that rat around almost pissed myself when I seen it run out from behind you😅😂😅😂
good work guys really like seeing two buddies working together.
Whata SHEET SHOW.. I genuinely love watching y’all work metal. That’s why I’m here , that and the personalities of you guys. Your making all of us wanna get off our asses and finish our projects.. even the ones we haven’t started yet. 🇺🇸🤘🏼
I enjoy seeing Slick and Bill in the videos. They can be funny and interesting. Keep up the good work. Can't wait until the next video. COME ON!!!!
Good job Puddin, you and Slick 50 did a great job on the floor. I was watching your video here at 4:00am and now time for a few hours of shut eye.👍
Everybody needs a friend like Slick!
And everybody needs a friend like Puddin!
I'm ready to watch Puddin and Slick build a whole suit of armor now!
The piano interlude, Beethoven - Für Elise, goes well with panel forming and welding!
Kinda classed the video up a bit, eh?
Thanks Puddin' and master craftsman Slick50 for showing what it real takes to make good long lasting floors and toe boards. I'll be pumped to see the finished project as with everything it's done when it's done.
❤love the dog a dog just show up at our place so you guess it we keep it to
You're lucky to have a good buddy like ole Slick. 👍🏼
Beautiful work gentlemen! Also, a big shout out to Nathan for getting my wagon T-shirt out so quickly. It's a work of art. Keep up the good work!
For the future…if you just add some painters tape to the edge of your paper you don’t have to cut another template 👍🏻 Love the channel!
Any video with Slick 50 in it is a fun entertaining video. Great job guys!!!
OK, the great Pott County Rat hunt made my day! You two never fail to make me LOL! Thanks again. Love the content! Love the new Ltd Edition Wagon shirt that came in the mail Saturday.
Not a sheet metal guy by any means, I'm more of the random license plate & self tappers.
But seeing the condensed version of some really nice sheet metal work and what goes into it, really makes one appreciate the craftsmanship. Great Job!!
If you like license plates and self tappers, then you should subscribe to a pole barn garage
@@chadburkle1461 Have been for a loong time!
That's a sweet floorpan
My favorite days are Monday and Thursday since it’s Puddin the Ike.
Your craftsmanship is outstanding and has come a long way in a short period of time. Love the build Puddin and love the metal work… god bless you and the family buddy 👍🏻👍🏻
I believe old Henry Ford would approve to how this machine is turning out! You are knocking it out of the park so far and it looks tastefully done at that!
I love puddin time. Removing the cab will be interesting with the peddle through the tight fit floor pan I reckon
You two are genius sheet metal makers! I still would use a Ford 302 or 351 engine instead of GM. The distributor in front makes it so easy to fit and work on.
The snips that you are using are directional , reds are rights which turn left, greens are lefts that turn right and yellow are straights. Awesome job!!!
Mondays are better with Puddins Fab Shop,You and Slick make a good team.
I do like watching sheet metal. I constantly learn more. Thank you !!
I would have made the toeboard go under the removable pan so that edge underneath is less likely to snag dirt and mud from the tires... JMO puddin man love the car so far
Such beautiful metalwork! LOVE it. That Slick, what a guy.
Great video Puddin and slick 50 that guy can work that tin.You guys are a good Team, making fun of each other and keep on Fabing....................................................................Fort Worth,Tx
you 2 work so good together should make more builds car is looking sharper
Floors and firewall are looking very good! I appreciate folks that have the patience for work like that, because I do not.
The extras make your channel more relatable to us common folks that watch. I love your humble ways and how u show being human happens. Taking Addy along with you was the cherry on top with this video. I bet Vicky loves having a young lady around. I actually plan on leaving Iowa for Ohio soon. People seem more laid back than even my rural farming community. Keep up the good work.
All I can say is, between Slick and Puddin, they've both got a TON more patience working that metal than I could ever have.
Man I wish I could have gotten a wagon t shirt, by the time I got home from work they were sold out!! That’s awesome though!
Just spent all day doing sheet metal work on my own project to come home and see Puddin also doing sheet metal work...best day ever.
These are my favorite videos with you and slick jack’n around. 😂
Tedious yes, but always entertaining with Puddin and Slick50! Nice work boys!
Puddin the reason I watch your channel is to see somebody who does his projects. Thanks for the entertainment while I sit on my chair.LOL
I am not much of a car man but a house/mister repairman.
I could watch sheet metal work all day!
Great job Mr. Pudding and Mr. Slicky Vic. Haha, great job, man.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is a great project . You are a pioneer on this Model A hot-rod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The floor looks absolutely AMAZING guys, great job, outstanding fitment. 👍👍
I loved the "sheet metal crap". Probably never do sheet metal but "never say never". Can't wait for you to take it to the drag strip.
Dang Puddin! You and Slick got the ol' A looking good! Great video again this week. Great progress made on this ride!
Two videos a week would be perfect start with puddin and then Friday end with puddin
Love this car and the build. Obviously it’s always fun watching you n Slick together. Got my wife to watch with me, she’s looking forward to seeing the car at the Lonestar roundup
Thank God for slick .he's good at sheet metal.
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY. THE FLOOR IS LOOKING REALLY GOOD. WITH YOU SITTING THAT CLOSE TO SLICK 50, MAKES ME WONDER IF SLICK IS REALLY THE KEASTER BUNNY? 🤔
Love watching the videos your killing it keep it up buddy
Happy Monday. Been looking forward to seeing more of this gem. Loving this project and what it means to you.
Can’t wait for merch shipping to Australia!!!!!
Yeah buddy! Hope you guy's survive the storms safely tonight , I've got family in Okmulgee, Tulsa and Oklahoma City!
I'm sitting in a truck stop in Newosho Missouri... Hoping I make it til tomorrow 🙏👀
@@Agenda-Norway yeah stay safe for sure, I'm in the Kansas City, MO area waiting on some storms around 8 or 9
@@Agenda-NorwayHeck. Best wishes to you. How is it there now? You okay?
I'm in the Tulsa area and it was bad there for a minute!
They look great guys but I hope the bell housing bolts never need to be removed. The whole engine will have to be removed just to remove the two bolts in the upper bell housing.
I really enjoy the sheet metal work. Watching Slick work his magic is very cool.
i dont comment but this deserves a comment great work puddin and slick
Mr Pudding Punk Sir ,really enjoyed all the content ,especially bringing in a Slick Master Body Maker Builder ,His technical and theoretical instruction was superb ,thankyou very much ,just great video ,even the rat hunt ,regards Rob.
😊😊. Best part of Monday. Puddin Time.
That was a lot of work but it all steal flooring with removable panels ❤🎉😊
It looks awesome 👍
Hard work and friend make masterpieces ❤
when two pro's work together beaty happens sweet work fellas
Buy you a set of Midwest offset tinsnips. Reds and Greens. Offsets allow you to cut curves and circles without bending and distorting the metal as much. Also never cut to the end of the snip unless you are notching.
Was gonna suggest the same. Midwest seems to be what people who work with sheet metal every day use. I have a worn out pair handed down from a roofer friend and they’re better than brand new ones from every other brand I’ve tried.
Those pieces of metal are works of art.
The Lone Star roundup event is going to be one to remember. Wish I could be there you guys rock. God bless your family and Slick 50s.
Slick Fitty and Bill add a special dimension to the channel, and it is always an extra treat when they appear. Great video and very instructional!
Hey Puddin, The floor looks fantastic. Better than factory. You and Slick work pretty good together. I can't wait till you get her done. You should also make your own headers and side pipes. Love your channels and videos. You should talk Slick into starting a RUclips channel. He could show his work and teach people his talent. Anyway, take care and be safe.
Slick seems to be getting much more comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Maybe someday we will be watching Slick each week as well.
Floors look great. You and slick are awesome at making floor armor.
Puddin your really lucky to have slick in your life. And visa versa.. Bill the OG Wang Dangle too. “Where’s my Wang Dangle shirt btw” friends like that are irreplaceable. Slick you are a good man.
Dude the firewall is sick love the way you guys did it
Im enjoying the more in depth stuff so do what ya gotta do to spread the content out x
Good morning from Cape Cod ⚓ you and Slick really knocked it out of the ballpark with that floor. It really looks great Puddin. Slick you do some awesome work! Puddin will make a sheet metal guy out of you yet 😀 keep up the great work and the awesome content guys 👍✌️🇺🇲
Dude, your skills just keep getting better, not that u sucked b4 but you keep raising the bar.. good stuff man
Always enjoy watching you and Slick working and laughing together
That car is coming along great! You two work well together and are a barrel of laughs for me.
You have my vote. Puddin 2024
You know what Puddin, I don't know if you know this or not but we can hear you just fine over the air compressor, even if you think we can. I think it bugs you more than it dose any of us LOL. Great job so far on this build, can't wait to see it painted and ripping down the road. By the way, I would have that thing painted in the Puddin colors.
Looking good, thanks for sharing!
I couldn't survive that project without my nibbler, shear & band saw. Yall's some real men.
Good friends are hard to find. I think Slicks a keeper. 👍
That model A is going to be sweet!
Another classic! Puddin and Slick50 can’t go wrong!
The best colab on RUclips
Slick50 & Puddin = mad fab skills
Love all the hard work
Just got done playin at the park with my boy, hes only 11 months but he loves watching you with me🤗
