I'm now addicted to enoki mushrooms. They crisp up so well it's almost like eating potato chips. And the nooch roasted with olive oil has a delicious caramelized taste.
I tasted a sample of these without grilling in the asian store. Add thin frying oil to wok with soy sauce, seasoned rice vinegar and sliced serrano peppers. Heaven!
This recipe is great. I didn't have nutritional yeast, so used turmeric instead. As mentioned elsewhere, the mushrooms will shrink: so especially keep that in mind when applying the oil and salt. I like the dark brown, crispy parts the best.
I tried these and they were soo good!!! Ran out out of nooch for my second pan but it was still just as delicious as the first, thanks for the recipe dude. Just a word of warning to anyone who attempts this; use 2-3 times more mushrooms than you think you'll need because they shrink HEAPS
These turned out delicious my kids are always asking for this recipe so every Friday just gotta run to the store!😂 But let’s be Honest this is a savoury crunch amazing snack even I love 😘
Great video as usual! They do remind me of the BBQ pulled pork mushroom recipe, so can they actually be used instead of the king oyster mushroom and eliminate the fork shreading process? 🤔
Good question!! Depends what you’re making. Throwing these in tacos is pretty dope. But you can add it to Buddha bowls, on salad, throw it in lasagnes or eat it plain!
These mushrooms are the sh*t !! 😋 Have you seen the videos of people (mostly Asian people) eating them covered with a chili oil sauce? I want to try that as well!
Have to be honest it looks like burnt pasta in the oven 😂 but i still want to see how it tastes! Great video eddit as always you put in a lot of work mate

Your mushrooms look great. I'm greatful to have discovered your recipes.
What can we substitute to nutritional yeast?
Grated parmesan cheese.
I use Enoki mushrooms in my ramen. Sometimes I wrapped them with bacon(pork or beef) and place them in the oven. They taste good.

At 400 Celsius they will become very crispy very fast. The charcoal-like appearance seems less appetising somehow.
You had me at NUTRITIONAL YEAST. Made these and YUMMMM-O ❤
I wanna try this.. thanks
Could we put parmesan cheese?
Yummy for sure
OMG THIS LOOKS AMAZING!!!!
holla from Cleveland yea man I just go two bags from the Asia plaza on east 30 earlier today this is the first time I grabbed them finally

I haven’t! Fried? Raw?
@@MarlonDoll stir fried
While I agree that this recipe is good, those videos of Asians eating enoki mushrooms…nasty, the sound effects alone make you wanna Ralph.
PLEASE NOTE: It is 400 degrees FAHRENHEIT - not Celsius lol. NO domestic oven goes to 400 degrees Celsius.
Is pan frying comparable to the bake frying method?
So good, so easy to do so thank you! And I forgot the nutritional yeast😂
Boom! ❤️
You look like a cross between Thomas Middleditch and Rob McElhenney from “Always Sunny”
I have never even seen those mushrooms. Produce section?
99 ranch :) asian stores are best bet (cheap and good!)
👏👏👏
