If you shrink the maps don't you don't need sprint. That or use a vehicle like you're supposed to on BTB-sized maps. Halo doesn't need that. There's a reason the majority of people hated Reach and Halo 4. And the ADS makes ALL the weapons more accurate. Why do you think it exists? Did you even play the beta?

I remember being so pumped for Halo 5's multiplayer back in August of 2015. 1 1/2 year later, and I still play Arena online. The free dlc has really kept me going. The campaign sucks, and the art design could be improved, but tbh Halo 5's Arena mode is pretty damn fun.
I've loved every Halo since CE. Every Halo game that has come out so far has had a better Multiplayer. Reach has to be one of my favorites, maybe because I don't really play the 360 that often but I was always average at Halo MP until Reach and 4. I turned out to be a lot better and usually dominating whatever mode I play because the games physics and mechanics got better. Halo 5 is only making everything better while still staying true to what Halo is. Halo isn't defined by having no sprint and no ADS. There is ADS in previous Halo's and the ADS in H5 only zooms in. It doesn't change the spread for automatic weapons. I don't want a reskin of Halo 2 and 3. All Halo 5 is doing is making a better, fast paced multiplayer. Most of the time I play custom games with friends so Forge better be good which it most likely due to Forge getting better ever since Halo 3. 343i doesn't want to just please the original players from day one. Halo 5 has the best features from every Halo and added some new ones to please newcomers to the game and makes it pretty much a great game overall. All the people that want the nostalgia in the game just play the Halo's you want. All the hate on the game just makes me want it more. Can't wait for it

Adam Jayasena tavo gonzalez It's a bar that is clearly visible. When it goes down all the way, your shield recharges. When you Sprint, it goes up. It isn't Rocket Science, if you play a match or two, you'll notice it. Either that or notice that in between sprinting and losing your shield, your shield doesn't recharge.

But since halo 5 isnt made by bungee im not for sure. I just bought a xbox s halo bundle today & im going to pick it up soon. Cant wait.
The only problem I can see is the multiplayer; I'm not saying it's bad in any way, but for someone who's never played a Halo game before it would a difficult experience. Then again, I'm a Halo veteran and I can't get a KD above 1.5 in most games.

All in all gameplay looks good, you can definetly tell they refined the game alot. You can hear the charecters call put enemy postions, you can hear someone call out mid high. Sprint looks good with the directional on the screen were your redical changes, thats a nuce touch. I gotta give it to you man when you had that dmr and you pooped on those two guys that was nice. You love the shoty dont you? The down.side i seen was the sniper. Wtf you clearly hit that dude in the head and he walked off with his sheild gone idk about that one shot head shot always. Now that I hopefully have your spiteful attention, anyone who cannot fathom the existence of a substantial argument against change in Halo, preferring to deal in absolutes like "salty nostalgic halo players" and an "annoying butthurt community living in the past" likely does not appreciate the most-defining essence of what separated Bungie's Halos from other FPSs, and what is problematic about *some* of 343's changes (not that Halo doesn't have its share of annoying fans). *To play halo is to sword fight with a gun*, a battle is elegant: getting the jump on someone does not mean killing them. Bungie's halo was non-linear at its core; COD is linear - the repertoire of skills, wit, and judgement one needs to come out on top of a single battle simply is not as profound. Loadouts, armor abilities, large maps that don't allow for dynamic battles (the "high-ground" is not as significant), all contribute to this. The evidence is everywhere: the number of assists (not always, but generally demonstrating a moshpit-type game-style) dramatically increased in Reach (which clearly was never meant to be played like a true halo) and more so in Halo 4. H4 is such a fun game to play, but that does not mean it wasn't a disaster. That being said, 343 seems like its learning... H5 does not look to be without mistakes, but its clearly an improvement from H4 (thank god no more AAs, as fun as the jetpack and promvis was). I'm somewhat hopeful.

I really like this gamemode, it seems like a mix between Halo 3 (fast paced action), and unreal tournament 3 with the arena style maps and guns hovering above the floor ready to be picked up. It looks AWESOME IMO
I'm not even excited for this. Before Halo 3 and Reach came out I was online every day looking for details. After Halo 4 I'm done with this franchise. If Bungie isn't making the game I won't buy another Halo game. 343 sucks. They ruined Halo 4, MCC was trash in multiplayer. My god this doesn't even look like a Halo game. The movement doesn't look right. The shooting mechanics look cheesy. It doesn't even look satisfying to get a kill.
Zane Silver Halo 4 and Reach were probably the most "noobified" Halo games to date. The Halo 5 Beta was very competitive and didn't reward scrubs as much as Halo 4 and Reach did.

Looks like it's going back to it's arena-shooter roots while adding in some extra features to the Spartan arsenal. Looks pretty good. So glad they're getting rid of loadouts that plagued Reach and 4.
Idk about others, but as a halo veteran I thought the thruster pack added a new skill gap in the game. Halo has always been about map control and the thrust really adds another element of maneuverability. When I played the beta, it seemed to me that the players who were able to maneuver the map the most efficiently with the thrust usually ended up on the top of the scoreboard. To those that compare this to the recent cod games, it's obvious that you haven't played H5 and/or previous halo games. To all of the Halo veterans, there is a silver lining; It can't get much worse than the bullet magnetism in Halo 4.

Finally waited for halo stuff
All in all gameplay looks good, you can definetly tell they refined the game alot. You can hear the charecters call put enemy postions, you can hear someone call out mid high. Sprint looks good with the directional on the screen were your redical changes, thats a nuce touch. I gotta give it to you man when you had that dmr and you pooped on those two guys that was nice. You love the shoty dont you? The down.side i seen was the sniper. Wtf you clearly hit that dude in the head and he walked off with his sheild gone idk about that one shot head shot always. But i really cant wait to play
A ver decent game. I rather prefer this than any bo3. Bo3's physics are just terrible. Halo is a fair game in my opinion.

As a pretty damn intelligent member of the halo community with experience surpassing 10,000 logged games of halo multiplayer, listen up. Now that I hopefully have your spiteful attention, anyone who cannot fathom the existence of a substantial argument against change in Halo, preferring to deal in absolutes like "salty nostalgic halo players" and an "annoying butthurt community living in the past" likely does not appreciate the most-defining essence of what separated Bungie's Halos from other FPSs, and what is problematic about *some* of 343's changes (not that Halo doesn't have its share of annoying fans). *To play halo is to sword fight with a gun*, a battle is elegant: getting the jump on someone does not mean killing them. Bungie's halo was non-linear at its core; COD is linear - the repertoire of skills, wit, and judgement one needs to come out on top of a single battle simply is not as profound. Loadouts, armor abilities, large maps that don't allow for dynamic battles (the "high-ground" is not as significant), all contribute to this. The evidence is everywhere: the number of assists (not always, but generally demonstrating a moshpit-type game-style) dramatically increased in Reach (which clearly was never meant to be played like a true halo) and more so in Halo 4. H4 is such a fun game to play, but that does not mean it wasn't a disaster. That being said, 343 seems like its learning... H5 does not look to be without mistakes, but its clearly an improvement from H4 (thank god no more AAs, as fun as the jetpack and promvis was). I'm somewhat hopeful.
Why does the damn shotgun still look the same from halo4!? 343 your version is nothing compared to the original look your version of the shotty looks like someone ate the original shotty and shat back out to look like what it does atm. Change it back to how it use to look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this gamemode, it seems like a mix between Halo 3 (fast paced action), and unreal tournament 3 with the arena style maps and guns hovering above the floor ready to be picked up. It looks AWESOME IMO

I'm not even excited for this. Before Halo 3 and Reach came out I was online every day looking for details. After Halo 4 I'm done with this franchise. If Bungie isn't making the game I won't buy another Halo game. 343 sucks. They ruined Halo 4, MCC was trash in multiplayer. My god this doesn't even look like a Halo game. The movement doesn't look right. The shooting mechanics look cheesy. It doesn't even look satisfying to get a kill.

Zane Silver Halo 4 and Reach were probably the most "noobified" Halo games to date. The Halo 5 Beta was very competitive and didn't reward scrubs as much as Halo 4 and Reach did.

Halo 1-3 were the best games ever created for Xbox. They gave Xbox a name! After Bungie sold out the game was ruined. Microsoft made it waay to easy, like call of duty. Guess i'm sticking to Gears Of War.

Looks like it's going back to it's arena-shooter roots while adding in some extra features to the Spartan arsenal. Looks pretty good. So glad they're getting rid of loadouts that plagued Reach and 4.

Idk about others, but as a halo veteran I thought the thruster pack added a new skill gap in the game. Halo has always been about map control and the thrust really adds another element of maneuverability. When I played the beta, it seemed to me that the players who were able to maneuver the map the most efficiently with the thrust usually ended up on the top of the scoreboard. To those that compare this to the recent cod games, it's obvious that you haven't played H5 and/or previous halo games. To all of the Halo veterans, there is a silver lining; It can't get much worse than the bullet magnetism in Halo 4.
