Guys, January is coming! And add this to your bucket list. The Sinulog Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Asia, is held here. The Sinulog Festival is celebrated by Cebuanos every month of January. The highlight of the festival is the Sinulog Grand Parade or Grand Mardi Gras, held on the 3rd Sunday of every January, the Sinulog Festival is a grand and colorful celebration every true-blue Cebuano looks forward to. The festival is held to honor the child Jesus (Sto. Niño), and features a series of novena masses, a fluvial parade, foot procession, street dancing, and, at one point, street parties, making it the most visited and colorful festival in the Philippines. And also, the local devotees of Señor Santo Niño wake up early to join and watch the grandest Fluvial Parade at the Mactan channel on the morning of the 3rd Saturday of the month, a day before the grand parade. Hi, I just wanted to inform you that the price is around 25 euros. From my experience, it was very reasonable. You wouldn't be able to see and do as much on your own as you can with the tour. For the price you pay, it's worth it. Plus, you get a humble meal included. The tour guides know the best spots, including the safe platforms to jump from, which you might miss alone. I highly recommend the tour because it's a great value, and they take good care of you. After the tour, you can explore the rest of the area independently. I hope it helps.
