- In this Philippines travel vlog we arrive on Capul Island!
I have to say, It's a blast being a foreigner in the Philippines. After torpedo boating, waterfall exploring, and meeting some of the friendliest Filipinos yet in Leyte and Samar, we pack up the scooters onto a small ferry and head over to explore this beautiful little island.
Capul island was our home base for a few days while myself, Kyle Jennermann of Becoming Filipino, Daniel Marsh, Bret Maverick, and Finn Snow explored what it had to offer. In this vlog, we take a quick tour into town, jump on a 6 man Super Bike (Maybe my favourite) and explore a beautiful beach to the north.

This vlog took a loooonngggg time coming, Mike! Good to have you back! What I love about this vlog: kids who are actually playing outdoors (vs toying around with gadgets for long periods of time)! True that practically every province has a different modified version of the habal habal - Filipino ingenuity at its finest! It's hilarious to see your habal habal driver poker faced and chilling while taking a slight swerve and all the Fighterboys grabbing on to something or someone for balance! This is why travelling makes you an interesting person. Notice all of Mike's "nerdy" knowledge. I've seen the footage from the Capul island presented by the other Fighter Boys, yet Mike is able to "bring me back" to Capul once more, and I find it really interesting to watch. Please never stop being "nerdy" Mike, I love it!
