agree - the dBm should be on HUD, link information is vital to judge what is going on especially lower to obstacles

I've been using A8s but I am very tempted to use the ZR10.. or ZR30. Thoughts? Current future project is a Bearospace Gemini and Gemini Pro. But I do like the idea of VTOL and I love how you are using the box it came with to transport.. super cool great video. Thanks again

Haha, don't mind taking one for the team with the manual! :P ZR30 can go very long... not sure what you will be using it for, but that one I would recon is not very convenient, if it is the only camera on board as its narrower than the ZR10 when fully zoomed out, as far as I can remember. But its zoom is epic though... 30x optical is no joke! Will have to have a very stable platform and no vibrations in the motor! And yeah... a VTOL is mighty convenient!

@ your a legend I’d love to use either this unirc7 or hm30 system with inav so a setup/step by step would be excellent for me personally,but also a lot of people fine ardupilot not very intuitive and since inav is similar in a lot of ways to beta flight more people would benefit I think
@@wastedworldexploration2842 Actually once you get past the initial scary looking setup of Ardu, it is actually a lot simpler and easier to get it flying good! A lot more reliable too!
@@ArxangelRC yep your probably correct,I had a fimi manta and found it over complex to setup,for me this hobby is complicated enough! lol.
This is why I’ve stuck with dji and inav for my planes but I love the idea of a siyi system with combined rc and video in the link
@@wastedworldexploration2842 Yup, I love that idea as well, and SIYI seem to have delivered with the UniRC 7 system... more testing will help either disprove or solidify this.
NICELY DONE, great work explaining ALL the detail! ONWARD! One other thought to throw into the networking mix, have you looked into or considered adding ZeroTier? Then the networking can potentially be global. Maybe a crazy thought. :)

Great video! I'm planning to buy this radio, but do you know if is possible to use different cameras than siyi? I would like to use a small gimballed camera by skydroid
Yes, you can use other cameras as long as they are IP cameras. I am not sure if they have an HDMI to IP converter... which might allow the use of all types of cameras with an HDMI output. Also, unless the camera has PTZ control, you won't be able to control it using the touchscreen, so will have to use hardware sliders and pots.
Hey! What about qgc app for RC? Does it works?
Probably, but like I said in the video, I don't like QGC, also it can't show two video streams together and I don't really use it. For me it is Mission Planner or UniGCS now, as they have made it quite capable, compared to the SIYI FPV app.
