Techno Towers as we used to call it is an office which had a rather naughty nighclub in it on the days that we werent there... lets call it a Gentlemans club... cough cough.... that used to do rather rude things with the other gender... and let people watch. Yeah one of those places... hmmmm. I never saw any of that when we were there but the artwork on the walls was very suggestive to say the least.
Then it had a major fire which appears to have started somewhere on the ground floors and this spread throughout much of the building. It appears the huge sub ground area is gound to be demolished now. The newpapers say that the fire was started deliberately. A real shame.
The original owners of the building were called Strachan and Henshaw. The building seemed to house a karate club, music studios, creche and art studios as well as many bike and car garages and service shops. Everything got destroyed by the fire but the main part of the building still stands and will probably be renovated.
We will return to the building in future videos as it seems we missed some stuff and theres more to be seen there.

Right near me Strachan and Henshaw building, could of pop in for a cuppa Matt lol. like you said went into a naughty night club I was told it was more of a Swingers Club? plus loads of other small business in there.. You know you stuff Sir Mattie ;)

The night club has a very occult like décor to it.
There was a lot of smoke damage in the upper floors, it seems the hot smoke is going through the main staircase and elevator shaft. The smoke could also be extremly hot so the damage do not must be from the fire himself.

Great video matt have you been to the Stockport WW2 Air raid shelters. I think they where opened in about 1939 I'm not really sure and I think they where built for about 3 850 or so people and it was extended to house 6.500 people I think the tunnels a nearly a mile long could be more I'm not really sure

I did an general online search for this place and surprisingly not a lot on it and no images hardly at all. Apart from an interesting article from Cable on the landlord and health and safety breaches it seems the place had a chequred history and cash only economy with load of various businesses operating in there...lol Interesting and hardly surprising a swingers joint would included in the list of dubious activity. A few unlisted businesses could be added as well lol

This is literally down the road from me! The fire was awful, such a sad night, all those people caught up in it. First we heard Rajani was on fire, then it turned out to be the old Strachan Henshaw building and not Rajani. One of my relatives used to use the breakers just above for cars. I know quite a few people personally who lost their jobs.
Yes so many people ran businesses from that building, if it was arson whoever caused it should be ashamed of themselves but have u noticed theres a real spate of arsons going on in Bristol since covid.
@@TheSecretVault I think you said in your video (and I know as well) there have been quite a few little fires around that area. I don't want to *cough cough* insurance job, but quite possibly... I've noticed the same. Very strange...

Top floor next to roof ladder, a black melt on wall might have been an emergency Evac phone for the jimmy savile hotline, a special ops helicopter unable to land on roof would have to execute a rappel rescue.
The workshop with the kitchen in was my friends paintshop the big bit the other end was a big engineering workshop with a 20t crane on the roof.
The bit where the fire started was in the bit where the shutters were that come out on the road down the side of the office that you see in the last part the roof area is all gone. Think there is alot more to see.

The handle which is on Floor level 9 (where the laser equipment is stored) is for turning. you flip it up like you did, but then you have to turn the handle about 90° to the right or left.

I live nearby the old Strachan & Henshaw building ! Who would have guessed they were growing in there ?! Pretty bad about the arson , feel sorry for the guy's garage business , he lost all his tools and his living in the blaze .

Dude, that fire happened Dec 2018... so if the growroom owner hasnt collected his kit from there by now, he or she aint coming back, LOL. Besides you wait till you see what else we found... in the update video to this one... coming soon.

The local rag described the swingers club the best place in the South West lol Christ if that shit hole was the best everywhere else must of been a right bunch of shit pits Skanky place the day we went in to set up for our clubnight we had a look around the place as you do Nothing in that place was clean I will never forget seeing a outlay of someones lower region on the glass that was used for a under-view area lol Can't wait for vid of the 3 days later walk around the place

We did a rave in the sex club that was in the middle of the building when he was trying to raise money to do the place up 3 years back One of the most grotty places i have ever been in That's deffo where the place we had the Country Club reunion final night will never forget that place It was a swingers club for years The guy who ran the place lived in the 2 floors above the club and apparently the floors above were closed off Apparently the place was full of asbestos in the upper floors There is some serious stuff left on that roof mega money
Used to get a bit hot if too many peopel were in there as had zero airflow.

I was a consultant bought in to investigate after the fire, air tests by asbestos analysts showed the levels were well above acceptable levels
