I have cerebral palsy and because of the pandemic I don't move so I lost all my abilities.. cant see anyone... very isolated I was in a lot of physical pain.. I thought about ending my life... but then I watched you so cheerful upbeat and real about your experience and I think hell I can do this! Thank you

Romee, my mom died from breast cancer in 1992. Seeing you suffer brought back so many memories for me. My heart aches for you. I'm thinking of you and rooting for you. I also have a friend, who is a nurse with Doctors Without Borders, and she had the same cancer as you. She is in remission and cancer free for 8 years. I'm sending you good vibes.
My dad died from cancer in 1992 as well.. and watching this does the same.. but the one MAJOR good thing is that even tho there should be a cure by now.. treatment has come a long long way from 1992.. I just started watching and am praying for all the positive that you send out to others to come flooding back to you Rome.. all positive things to get you to remission and cancer free

I have mantle cell lymphoma and I relate to the painful espisodes that can show up during treatment. I find a good quality heating pad very helpful. Watching you from US, best to you, you are 👏

So sorry that you were in such pain. I just wanted to say that this vlog is such an incredible example of how yes cancer sucks but you don’t let it consume you life. You make sure to attend important life events (like the baby shower) you continue working on your education/thesis and you recently moved into your own place. You show the rough parts about having cancer but you also show the importance of retaining a sense of normalcy. Your positive attitude is infectious and I think that part of why I love your channel.
I feel you with the red cheeks after just biking for a few minutes. I started uni again, after 1,5 years of no uni because of severe depression. I haven’t done any exercise besides sometimes walking to the super market. I have to bike to uni 10 minutes a day and this whole week I enter uni with a bright red face and I’m totally out of breathe, sweating excessively. I feel very embarrassed, being only 21 being this out of breath, but... I’m trying to get over it, I’m working on it and I’m happy to be back in uni!
you were/are sick, don't be too hard on yourself 😊 totally fine if it's a little hard for you after some time without exercise. It's the same for healthy people, so you are twice as strong ;)
I once rode 10 min to the supermarket and legit had to puke when I got there hahaha don't even worry about it!
