And that really fucked with his head. Talon abused that to turn his curiosity and fascination with the universe’s mysteries into *VIOLENCE*.

It’s the manic widening of the eyes, the unfocusing of his gaze that really sells it. What a fantastic glimpse into the tragedy behind this character. Sigma has the most compelling backstory that we’ve gotten from a new hero in quite a while and I’m really loving the alternate interpretations here. He is focused on fighting, being manipulated by Talon but for a brief moment he remembers and realises what is actually happening to him. But only for a moment because then Talon 'controls' him again.

In conclusion, either Sigma has an odd case of split personalities with one suppressing another, or Sigma just heard the Universe's Mixtape

My theory is that his personalities aren’t fragmented (multiplier personality disorder). My theory is that his accident is causing him to experience countless realities simultaneously. Some in great pain, some hardened by great hardship, some where his work went well and he is a professional who helped many people, etc. So less a fragmented mind in his universe and more... all the possible hims.

I gotta say, I love the attention to detail with the animation. His madness is very well portrayed when his idle animation shows him suddenly flinching and looking off into the distance as he starts to lose controle of his little black holes, then he flinched again after he notices and he brings them back and and is expression returns to normal. Part of me believes he could get a passive flight buff much like Pharah. Or a button that gives him a momentary flight on a moderate cooldown. For a man who controls gravity... Either just a double jump that gives him upward flying. A small bonus but shows he's not infallible or able to control it all the time. Which would explain his levitation, but not him just zipping across the horizon.

His madness is very well portrayed when his idle animation shows him suddenly flinching and looking off into the distance as he starts to lose controle of his little black holes, then he flinched again after he notices and he brings them back and and is expression returns to normal. During the ultimate you can hear the "melody" and himself laughing! I love this so much.
I like to imagine when he crouch-walks that his singular big toe just slowly drags across the ground, slowing him down. And that’s why he moves slower in his crouch walk.
Sigma doesn't look all that old(50s-ish maybe?)but apparently he's 62. Makes him older than Reinhardt and the oldest in the cast.

Ngl this is probably the first new character in Overwatch I’ve seen people beyond intrigued by! I’ve even seen people who don’t play Overwatch invested! Like most I’ve seen about him are actually curious about his character and everything he goes through!

Part of me believes he could get a passive flight buff much like Pharah. Or a button that gives him a momentary flight on a moderate cooldown. For a man who controls gravity... Either just a double jump that gives him upward flying. A small bonus but shows he's not infallible or able to control it all the time. Which would explain his levitation, but not him just zipping across the horizon.
