went 1.5 size down and I had to cut the tongue loose from the sides of the shoe to be able to put them on, but they fit lol

go a whole size down? That's strange because this was surprisingly the first pair of converse where I went true to size and they fit me just how Jordan 1s do.
How big is your foot? I know for me though, I’ve always been 0.5 - 1 size down, and I typically go the full size down. I still feel like I could’ve squeezed into 1.5 down and still been ok, but that’s pushing it
TheShoeVet I wear a US size 8 and I have a narrow foot. Normally in converse I wear 7.5 because they run big like you said. Honestly all my nikes are size 8-8.5 and all my yeezys are 8.5-9

Are they hard to put on for you? I went a full size down like you and although it fits perfectly, they were so hard to put on the first time because of the back part of them, my fingers are still hurting whilst I write this comment
I wouldn’t say “hard” but I definitely have to put in effort thought. I unlace them and pull out tongue as much as I can. It’s definitely not that hard to have my fingers hurting. Do you unlace them prior?

Thanks man. Note, whatever size you get, they are a lil tricky to put on due to the lacing system. But for me, the fit was perfect getting what I typically get in Converse size for me

Are the US and UK size the same on converse ?
US and UK sizing are measured differently. The shoe itself is the same irregardless of where you buy from
