Definitely worth buying in 2019. The video gives all the information needed to get started. If you are on a musicians budget then you can not go wrong. HD 1080 is what you tube works on what else can you ask for. Best tutorial video and affordable camera for getting the job done correctly.
Well done video! I have a question re; the individual video clips, (each about 26;00 minutes.) While recording a vocal concert, when the clip comes to end, and goes to next clip. there is a 1 second gap. Very noticeable, in post. Any way to not have the audio gap, between the scene clips? Thnx! Ron
I heard having two exact cameras rolling a few minutes apart catches everything. Unfortunately I can only afford one camera but that might solve that one second gap, and you are right about APPROXIMATELY 26 MINUTES, I have gotten a few surprises so i try to cut it before it reaches the max at some time around 20 minutes. Less painful. I do mainly music events.
@@jazzcornertv Wow! after 2 years, yours was the only reply. Probably most are not aware of this problem, unless you shoot musicals, and edit them I agree, a 2nd AG HMC 150, to lag, or start ahead, would solve that problem. But now, we have much more serious problems. Let's hope we solve the BIG one. Stay safe, Ron
My one man production team can not carry 2 cameras (lol). The technology has advance so much past the 26 minutes issues, but you do have some very informative videos that you have captured well.
Does anyone know if I can upload videos directly from the SD card with a card reader to my iPhone or MacBook without needing a computer or without having to use an editing software...Sometimes I may need a clip on the spot out in the field. Love this awesome review, everything in detail. Thanks you very Much !!!
I put the card in an SD card reader attached to my MacBook Pro. Open in QuickTime. Export in desired format, e.g., 1080p, send 1080p file to iPhone. It's pretty quick!
This is THE BEST video on the internet for the HMC150. How does it only have 1500 views in 5 years of being on RUclips?!
