An hour long video about how to use the Panasonic AG AF100. Very detailed. Ignore the scary mannequin. And some of the info about skin tones completely favors getting Caucasian tones correct. Look for the link on our WordPresss site to Larry Jordan's Vectorscope instruction page for information on getting all kinds of skin tones correct. The comments are pretty good, too.
The Apartment

File created in Sweet Home 3D. I drew my apartment and animated a walk-thru. I'm leaving and this animation captures my feelings for the place, even though everything in it is based on what the software provides in terms of floors, walls, fixtures, furniture, lighting. Strangely enough, it re-creates the space fairly accurately. It even has a dream sequence, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. BTW...

This is by far the best video tutorial out there for this camcorder. I have just purchased one from eBay for a very modest $290 This is now my go-to video for my AG-AF101e
How can I record raw or log with this camera Please?
Cool, an upgraded Dvx100
Price in Pakistan
Nice tarp!
I got this camera a few days ago, I came to realize that is not your typical consumer camcorder so I am defeated but undeterred. I will practice until I can control there camera. Thanks for sharing the video
what charger/ac adapter are you using for the hmc150 in this video?
This is THE BEST video on the internet for the HMC150. How does it only have 1500 views in 5 years of being on RUclips?!
j'ai un examen demain sur la caméra, tu me sauve la vie.
i just bought a second-hand AF100 and this video is amazing! Thank you so much for creating this, it is a powerful teaching on how to best use this camera.
Hey, i just wanted to say a huge thank you for sharing this, it has been so helpful, yes, in 2020, when I could finally afford to buy a second hand AF-101, this has shown me so much I did not know.
brilliant explanation of the camera with clear and precise information but never confusing. Well done , a born teacher and technician too.
I use this camera a lot of time, 2012 until now, who is he? in 8 years is the best explanation of all the videos i ever see, using the GH5, RED Epic, Canon DSLRs, I never see an explanation like this one! please, if somebody knows about him or channel or something, letme know...
Barry Green, bro. I'm actually waiting on this DVD set to come in the mail. There's a book that goes with it, but I haven't been able to track it down.
Does anyone know if I can upload videos directly from the SD card with a card reader to my iPhone or MacBook without needing a computer or without having to use an editing software...Sometimes I may need a clip on the spot out in the field. Love this awesome review, everything in detail. Thanks you very Much !!!
No you can't
@@sa.t.2507 ...Thank you , Appreciate it .
@@TommyValentine 👍👍👍
I put the card in an SD card reader attached to my MacBook Pro. Open in QuickTime. Export in desired format, e.g., 1080p, send 1080p file to iPhone. It's pretty quick!
breathe mate
very useful
Definitely worth buying in 2019. The video gives all the information needed to get started. If you are on a musicians budget then you can not go wrong. HD 1080 is what you tube works on what else can you ask for. Best tutorial video and affordable camera for getting the job done correctly.
I can tell u, Thats true
Great! I bought this camera some years ago. But now I understood much more. Thank you very much.
is it worth buying it in 2018?
yes
I got one on ebay for like $500 and i use it all the time for my youtube videos.
@@adamspeople $500! ur lucky
I thought that guy was Daniel Brühl or his brother. Haha. I watch all the video and help me a LOT. I am also surprise that the video is from the 2016 and the camera is all enough, 2012 maybe. So i belive this camera still works today (2018). Anyway, thanks a lot!
where can i find the all the videos
Well done video! I have a question re; the individual video clips, (each about 26;00 minutes.) While recording a vocal concert, when the clip comes to end, and goes to next clip. there is a 1 second gap. Very noticeable, in post. Any way to not have the audio gap, between the scene clips? Thnx! Ron
I heard having two exact cameras rolling a few minutes apart catches everything. Unfortunately I can only afford one camera but that might solve that one second gap, and you are right about APPROXIMATELY 26 MINUTES, I have gotten a few surprises so i try to cut it before it reaches the max at some time around 20 minutes. Less painful. I do mainly music events.
@@jazzcornertv Wow! after 2 years, yours was the only reply. Probably most are not aware of this problem, unless you shoot musicals, and edit them I agree, a 2nd AG HMC 150, to lag, or start ahead, would solve that problem. But now, we have much more serious problems. Let's hope we solve the BIG one. Stay safe, Ron
My one man production team can not carry 2 cameras (lol). The technology has advance so much past the 26 minutes issues, but you do have some very informative videos that you have captured well.
This is my first time of seeing a detailed information video on the usage of the AF100. The one that I have seen is the Barry Green's book which also does a great job, but I prefer the video because it is very illustrative and well understood. Thank you so much. Charles Tufuor
I could not find the book but the image on the background of the video is exactly like the cover in the book. I think we are actually seeing Barry Green.
@MsGarol that's so good!
these guys, did. definitely
hey rustydobro - too true... and i used to live in ireland. always knew that the music there was amazing and related to the music of the american south, but never knew how deep it went and how much it meant until i lived there.
Well, bluegrass if you like, but you'll hear music like this all over Ireland.
I'd love to see them. I think they have a tour schedule and am going to see if I'm lucky enough for them to be close or semi-close by. This is an excellent post. Thank you so much! p.s. I do not want to sound rude since you were so kind to put this up, but actually this is more bluegrass than country. It is bluegrass, now politically correct to say Americana, or mountain music. Anyway you say it, they are great! :)
Amen! They are! My daughter saw them on her recent trip to NYC for the first time. Came home and told me all about them, so I had to check them out for myself. :)
Just awesome!
