Yes! I still just cannot understand how it isn’t the most popular moto-sport in the US? I just don’t get it....it’s so perfect for spectators, so easy to set up a course for promoters, and reasonably inexpensive for riders. I guess our overly litigious society has put the brakes to its growth.... it’s so sad. Courses could have sprung up in nearly every city and provided an elaborate grass roots pool of talent. It’s just so accessible, more so than Motocross and infinitely more than roadracing...safer than both and less expensive to keep a bike competing. It’s brilliant! The racing is invariably close and amazing...I will never understand. Much like euro rally cross, which I consider the automotive equivalent, Americans should love it! Especially if it were promoted at a local, grassroots level. Like early motocross used to be, with night racing and weekend racing. Such a lost opportunity. All of Motorsport just seems to be getting further and further away from the average person, less and less accessible.
@@robertrishel3685 I agree 100% on everything above. And on the top of that, I donàt know if you ride a supermoto, but watching this makes you feeling you want to go for a ride so much!!!
@@brendanredler3666 i think he looked more to the left, i dunno he looks old, but anyways, i dont want to start a fight because of a video, have a good one bro :)
Really great video work. It would be better if there were more more 2 strokes. A KX500 makes a great Supermoto/motard racer. Must urge the smokers on! Braaaaap!! On Edit: Have to love steering with the rear :)
17" wheels, dual sport tires and a flat-track suspension has to be the ticket!!! Stiff, supple and can handle backing it in. A straight motocross setup is way too soft for this type of terrain.
Cappe_YT you can do that, but it kills your engine...I was driving 2 stroke for around 3 years and can say, that it works but you hear that your engine dont like it
That was sick. What air pressure and what kind of tires are these. It would be great if there was a go pro showing the front hand break lever and foot lever break when going into asphalt corners.
Heavy on the front brake, reducing weight on the rear tire. Shift down if necessary and slip/dump the clutch making the rear end slide. Allows for better corner entry/exit. Also looks pretty badass.
@@Telefunk006 I love it!!!👍👍👍actually just got it out of the shop..cant wait to ride!!..and actually it is a Supermoto that's what the title says..and the frame plate Supermoto/enduro..no naked bike here...its awesome no matter what..👍👍
Gamas Lazuardi They do wats called rev matching, you have to clutch in shift down and as you release the the clutch you rev up the engine to match the transmission rpms.
@@noahp9143 that's not true, normally they use the clutch to shift down and most of them have got a so called slipper clutch, which makes it possible to bang down the gears no matter how high your rpms are, they shift from 5th gear into the 2nd gear without any problems the clutch automatically opens a little bit but does the same thing as if you pull the clutch slightly, so it never opens completely , so that not all the force from the high rpms is going on the rear wheel otherwise it would lock up and can cause instability or can be the cause of a crash. if you don't have a slipper clutch you need to hold the clutch on the bite point or the point where your bike normally begins to roll if you want to bang down the gears so fast from a higher gear into a lower gear !
Supermoto would be much more popular if they got rid of all the Dirt Sections, added jumps and figured out how to add banks to the corners.... Deal with those 3 points, and Supermoto will become much more popular around the globe I promise 🤘🏻
Good, no excellent stuff! But please in realtime or in slow-speed. You have so good camera angles and some meny of them, so no need to overspeed. Thanks
Go fast in corner, put 2-3 gears down without clutch and press front brake and lean. They have slipper clutch so the rear wheel slide is more controllable. No rear brake needed usually but you can give a little if you want to slide more for some reason.
@@Djdub5757 no, this is made by engine breaking and hard front breaking to unload the rear wheel and a little bit of rear break, just to slow the rear wheel down and clutch control if you have got a slipper clutch its much easier cause you don't have to deal with a locking rear wheel and can release the clutch without even thinking about it, no matter how high you rpms are . If you brake and shift down late enough with high rpms this will happen automatically , if this doesn't happen to you ....you know you are still too slow or soft on the brakes, look motogp guys they do this as well and if you want to end the drift at the apex just pull in the clutch and your rear wheel will get grip again . You never ever want to lock your rear wheel in this process, otherwise it will end in a crash ! Its not made with the rear brake !

Cuz it’s not supercross
I don't get it either

I should take a Supermoto beginner's course and see if it's something I can get into as a hobby.
So much more fun than a sports bike or cruisers that's just my opinion mabe I'll get a cruiser when I'm old but for now supermoto all the way
