Excellent mate. I recommend searching for a "flat pickup". The coils wrapped are vertical instead of horizontal, meaning the height of the humbucker pickup is greatly reduced (3x shorter approx). I bough one for AU$20.

i used Mahogany. A hard wood should be used.
