This is the most epic video I’ve seen in years because of the synchronization of lyrics and music, the accuracy between burns attitude and everything else is genius this should be official
Maybe I'm just mis-remembering, but I could have swore that the original video did have synced video AND Smithers did have the guitar solo... this looks like someone else put this video together using clips from the show. Not the original video. Especially with the post ending.
@@youngkeys have you not heard of reading previous comments? Look two before yours. He records them simultaneously (that's adult-speak for "at the same time"!).
I actually really like this song now! My favourite part is where Smithers says "I thought I had my mojo working, ha!" and Mr Burns says "H'm!" before saying "That man by the cooler..." He almost laughed at Smithers' joke.
Wow, that lipsyncing works surprisingly well for the most part! I was thinking of doing a handdrawn music video for this but I can't even draw any of the characters in simple poses, so... nah.
Mr Videos & Games use bitmap and have characters on a plain or colored background. Then simply find mouth shots and copy and paste. Or google motion sprites etc. I made a Mario video a long time ago by doing it. Just a tip :)

Wow. That was one of the best things I've seen in terms of a vid for a track that never had a vid. Great work. Makes me nostalgic. I remember burning out my cassette copy of Simpsons Sing the Blues growing up. This track and "Deep, Deep Trouble" were faves of mine.

@@YesTHATJohnSmithTWD's original show already ended, and both franchises are money printers, so unless you've got a better idea to supplement AMC and FOX's incomes, on the air they'll remain.
I don’t know if this has been mentioned before but it’s actually Waylon Smithers playing the guitar oppose to Otto Mann. You can hear in the Lyrics this conversation: “Hm Smithers what happened to the music?” “I think they called a breakdown sir. “ “We can’t have any breakdowns here, what if there’s an inspector around! Play a guitar solo” “Well sir...I’m a little out of practice” “I said do it so DO IT DO IT DO IT!!” Then as the Guitar plays you cant faintly hear Smithers saying “mhm, oh yeah” I just felt the slight need to bring this to attention, and a better clip for this part could possibly have been that time dear Smithers was having the time of his life playing the banjo, because it looks a lot like a guitar and it’s a pretty funny scene.
The thing is that there are no apparent clips of smithers guitar soloing at that time the person was editing it, unless you count Smithers playing the banjo in the episode Blood Feud
"Er, I believe this is what they call a breakdown, sir-" "I can't have any breakdowns, what if there was an inspector around?" My mom heard me parroting those lines as a kid and at first thought they were from TTTE!
I lived in this Christian boys home when i was in 2nd and 3rd grade and i got the simpsons sing the blues cassette tape with this song on it and took it to the boys home. They had to listen and approve any music you brought in to the campus. After listening to this tape, they said absolutely not, this tape is forbidden on this campus lmao.
@@spongebobmiscellaneous they definitely did not like the words. The word idiot like in this song was practically a cuss word there. Several of the songs actually had real cuss words in them and they went crazy after listening to the songs. Thought it was very inappropriate for my age and really anyone in general regardless of age but especially a kid.
@A Paul B Ah, that sucks... I did private school for elementary and they wouldn’t let us say things like “Halloween”. It’s dumb. I mean, I get it, but it makes us Christians seem like obnoxious, killjoy sticklers. I'd love to work at the nuclear power plant. It looks like they have fun there. Didn't in one of the simpsons flashback episodes they mention you don't need a college education to work there?
