  • Introducing SLAVES, our first Record Store Day UK Champions. Here they are in action at Resident Music in Brighton picking out their favourite records for us.
Slaves first emerged in 2012, working their way up through Kent’s toilet-venue circuit to become one of the success stories of 2015. The band’s debut album ‘Are You Satisfied?’ smashed in to the UK Top 10 and earned the band huge critical acclaim.
Record Store Day is the one day of the year when over 200 independent record shops all across the UK come together to celebrate their unique culture. Special vinyl releases are made exclusively for the day and many shops and cities host artist performances and events to mark the occasion.

Could never afford many vinyls. Fairly pricey for my tastes but I sure do love music shopping. The good old days of CD browsing at Virgin and HMV.
