When you are firstly boosting the tyre onto the rim its easier to do without the valve core. Once the tyre has popped into place then you no longer need to boost and the pump can be used the normal way
Thanks for the info. I'll have to make sure because I think the pump connection screws onto the valve core. But maybe just hold the pump's firing over the valve (without the core) by hand, maybe?

Nope. The gauge is only to show the pressure in the cannister.

Hey thanks for the comment. I'm not sure about the football. But I'd give it a try.
Don’t use CO2 it does not work with sealant , and this is a good pump. Pump to 160 psi open quickly to seat tire .
