The pit boss and the host both told me the number of hours you spend at the table and hold your blackline status (and yes, you are 100% correct that odds do not count) are the determining factor to earn free cruises at the craps table and that the buy in amount doesnt matter. I tested this theory on my last cruise and was buying in with chips and cash for about $600-$800 each night and I still got my same offer of free balcony and $600 free play (no more plus package).
