    Watched all 3 of your London City walks and they were all great. I lived in London for 50 years so I know most of the locations but you've shown me some new and very interesting viewpoints and I'm going to go back up shortly and use these videos as inspiration. Keep up the great work.

    Recently subscribed and having a binge this evening. Particularly enjoying the London videos. I remember doing a school trip to Greenwich one dreary day in the early 1970s. We did a boat trip from Tower bridge to Greenwich. All I remember is the sad, dilapidated wharfs as the Port of London was more or less done at that point....If only I had a camera then!

    Great video as per usual
    One thing i did notice, particularly at 6:22 is that your video camera has lots of fisheye distortion!

      @e6Vlogs  8 лет назад

      I was using a Canon Legria Mini X vlogging camera for this video. It has a fishyeye lens.

    Hello Craig, London is very photogenic there are a lot of locations from where to find a good composition. Your images should have a brochure appeal for tourists to know these beautiful locations. Great work.

    Just discovered you and am really enjoying your videos. I'm off to London tomorrow and am greatly inspired by your photography. I was just going to do 'street' but am going to pack my wide angle lens to try to capture some urban landscapes. Keep up the good work as your videos are very informative and interesting.

    Great video Craig and of an area not far from me, strange that Ive never been to Canary Wharf to photograph the urban landscape there, I think Ive been put off by the horror stories concerning the security personnel there, but I shall add it to my list following your video, you captured some wonderful images.

    Great composition. The video shot are also done with great care. There is little distortion.
    Hope the captain moved his boat to another parking place. Can't be that difficult ;)

    Hi, recently found your channel and I love your work. I too was recently in the Docklands are taking pictures. May I recommend a really nice spot for some great pictures of the city. By the excel centre thee is a foot bridge going over the dock, right next to the floating hotel. Give it a try. I got some great images. T

    Great photos, I’m going next week but unsure about taking my zoom Nikon camera, I hear security will ask what your doing if you use a big camera but ignore you with a phone etc. How did you find it?

    Just subscribed. I look forward to watching your videos over the coming weeks.
    How do you find using a tripod in London? Do you get "asked" to put it away often?

    +e6 Vlogs excellent video - was there on Sunday with some photographers - tried to recreate the clock and building photo - more challenging than expected- curious what focal length was used for perspective ?

    • @e6Vlogs
      @e6Vlogs  8 лет назад

      Thanks Lionel. A wide angle lens, 14mm I think (28mm on full frame)

    As always a really great video. I was wondering why you decided to use your Olympus Pen rather than the OM-D? Was it just size and the impact that might have on security people?

    • @e6Vlogs
      @e6Vlogs  6 лет назад

      The EP5 copes better with noise on long exposures. Simple as that.

    brilliant really enjoyable videos. cracking shots.
    what lens for your wide angles? currently undecided on the 9-18mm or the big problem 12-40 (giving me more scope)... Any experience with either?

    • @charliefarley74
      @charliefarley74 8 лет назад

      pro* not problem :-)

    • @e6Vlogs
      @e6Vlogs  8 лет назад

      +charliefarley74 I use both lenses. 12-40 obviously is the better of the two. The 9-18 is softer at the edges but will make do until Olympus release an ultra wide that can take filters!

    Really like that shot at the end of the video with the tube train, Craig. Do you remember what lens you used for that shot?

    • @e6Vlogs

      14mm prime

    • @kenny75photography2

      Cheers, I was also wondering (being a pest again sorry!) if you knew the name of that track at the end of the video. I tried looking it up via the Shazam app and got Jammer Junble "Fer a century" but the track itself doesn't sound the same. Its just as I enjoy the tracks you pick and have downloaded quite a few myself.

      As far as I remember it's another RUclips freebie. Found it in their Audio Library

      Ok cheers, I guess it would be hard to narrow down with so many tracks on RUclips's various audio collections. Anyway look forward to your next video. :)

    not sure what you meant by avoid security when in canary wharf?

    • @e6Vlogs
      @e6Vlogs  7 лет назад

      Sometimes the security will stop you from using a tripod. Other times, as long as you are not pointing your camera at the building entrances, they let you take photographs even with a triipod.

  • @LennartKoopsen
    @LennartKoopsen 8 лет назад

    Why would you try to avoid security? Is it not allowed to take photographs in London?

    • @e6Vlogs
      @e6Vlogs  8 лет назад

      Not in some places. Some places are private land. However, you do encounter security guards who try to stop you even if you are on public land!
