What's your take on using numbing cream to alleviate the pain? Dos it affect the wax application? I've tried several and it has never worked for me, but some people say it does help numb the area.

Can you recommend a good wax warmer for beginners? I started out with a makartt warmer and it never gets to a “perfect consistency” it’s always either too hot or too cool.
I really want to buy Mermaid wax but I live in the UK, do you know approximately when international shipping will be available? If it is going to take a while, can you recommend a wax that is geared more towards taking out the finest hairs please? I know you recommended Starpil hard wax before, I'm wondering if the waxes are basically the same or if there is some difference in how they perform. I would really appreciate your help.
I used baby oil. I think any kind of oil will break wax down, no need to spend a fortune on products specifically made for it because guess what... it's all just oil hahaha
Hi! I'm hoping you can help me. I applied the soft wax down on the client and the wax stayed on the skin. I cleaned the area prior with Witch Hazel and alcohol. Is the wax old? Not hot enough? Damaged due to being left on high too long?
It's because the skin is either too cold or dry. Warm the wax up by rubbing your hand on the strip for a bit and then pull it off. If the skin is dry put a drop of oil on your gloves and rub it on the area that will be waxed.
There’s a brand called Nufree that claims that it’s antimicrobial and antibacterial. They also claim that it’s not made with wax, sugar or honey. Ive come across chats talking about antimicrobial and I think this is what they are referring to. But these claims aren’t excuses to double dip, why take a chance on contaminating your products and endangering others health 🙅🏼♀️ Its honestly not that hard to follow state board regulations either haha

I’ve worked with 1 hard wax and hated it so I can’t wait to try Mermaid! * 1 place I worked tried saying it’s ok to double dip if it’s w a facial wax bc the wax was hot enough. She got an earful from the whole staff! It’s scary how many professionals do double dip. Happy waxing to you too!

That’s crazy! The excuses people come up with for double dipping, it’s so scary. I’ve had so many new clients tell me, “oh wow, you use a new stick every time?” And I’m like omg yes!!!! 🤢🤢

I've never used it actually! I only had one client who would use it themselves and she liked it. Didn't seem to affect the wax at all.

How do u remove wax from your pot when you want to put a different kind of wax in?
gina cartwright Empty as much as possible. Then use “Goo” remover, I found me some at TJ MAX or Walmart.
