One thing I always like about Sage's videos is his appreciation for the sheer stunning beauty of the terrain he's running on. He never loses sight of the fact that he's running in some of the most amazing terrain on the globe.
Dear Sage, Can you talk about training throughout the whole year? What I mean is, how to train in the autumn and winter for example when you should gain some stamina, and how you should train in spring when you need more speed. How does a runner need to change his training method for these two types of training?
Greetings from Taiwan! We have some high mountains here too but those over 10,000 feet need permits to climb. It's nice that people can simply hit the trails in Colorado.
Nice! I went up to the Elbert summit Saturday (my first trip to Colorado.) I went up the south Black Cloud trail and needless to say I was waaaaaay slower! But wow, what a great view from the top! Thanks for sharing,
Do you ever sweat? I have problems with hydration, soaked in sweat after 30 mins. Hard to carry enough water for a long run. Can you do a video on sweat rate with some tips?
Great video , have a race tomorrow it's 10k any chance you would do a video on how to prepare for a race and how to best execute a race , should you jump out fast then settle into a rhythm how fast should you run your first km relative to your last km and middle km's , thanks
Typically you want to negative spilt the race. If you have a time you are shooting for use that for pacing. First half of the race should be slightly slower then the second half.
Nice run Sage! How many 14ers have you done now? Might be an idea for a new video series for you, running the 14ers. Would be a great resource for runners and hikers alike!

Stunning views! Love the camping food as well looks amazing! 👍
Beautiful video. Using a gimbal? Great run!
Much respect for your strength and endurance. I tried to hike up that a few weeks ago and didn't get there. Good luck and I enjoy videos.

I've been wanting to do Mt. Elbert! Good luck on UTMB!
Sage, marathon training collab video with Olympian Nick Symmonds, please. He said he's game!
This would be dope
Great video and most beautiful view.
I think the person at 10:30 stopped to look at you run down, maybe thinking, "what is wrong with this guy!" lol
Well done Sage 😉💪
Running up a mountain, barely breaking a sweat or breathing heavy, with half the oxygen and probably at a faster pace than I can do at sea level.
vlogs = epic
Sage your quality of videos have def improved. Nice job!
Isaac Gallegos: think so too!

grindpalm I'm the same. I just revert to running early in the A.M, but this would be a great idea for a video.
Solo? Sandi wasn't up for the summit? Good luck at speedgoat sage and good luck at utmb! Love the videos and the inspiration.
That was something special.
wow what a run!
