  • HardyMj is banned from all Brawlhalla tournaments for the rest of the year.
infamously known for using a weapon recognized as one of the worst in the entire game or that's what he’d like you to believe. Hardy had a real talent for spreading propaganda about how terrible his main weapon was in Brawlhalla

They might've tried but failed. We don't know that. Also, i kind of get it if no one spoke up. I've been in similar situations myself, and it's hard to be the one who disagrees. The feelings were probably real, even if they didn't actually have a reason to fear him, and you can't argue with someone's subjective experience/feelings.
This kind of situation is like extinguishing a fire: You need to move quickly, and you can't spend time figuring out exactly how much you need to spray. You just spray until you're completely sure the fire is extinguished. Banning Hardy solved the problem (staff feeling threatened), i assume, even if it were a bit overkill.

  • @Speachlezz

Let’s be honest, he literally isn’t threatening anyone by competing. If anyone were to feel so inclined as to walk up and address him for what he was saying, then that’s on them, he’s not provoking a fight with anyone with his words, and that should be more properly addressed when people make claims like this. I especially hate the sly virtue signaling Dara tries to do in the tweets; saying stuff like “tell me more how it’s weird to tweet” and “tell me more why this tweet is so weird to make though” with the intention to get a heated response from Hardy when he wasn’t even trying to be transphobic in the first place is unreasonably irritating especially when it falls short since it just makes you look like an asshole. His focus wasn’t the fact that trans people were were being endorsed for their coming out, but the fact that it was compared to the military, and when someone doesn’t view it as a really good joke, they’re more than likely not going to respond to it as if they do, and that can’t make them a bad person even if you’ve tried to make it seem that way 7 consecutive times in 24 minutes. People seriously need a reality check, not because of the opinions they may have, but because of the lengths they go to make themselves seem morally correct before actually defending their opinion altogether.

Absolutely agree. This comes from a gay person, which """gives me a better reason""" to talk about it I guess? I'm not trans but I saw absolutely NO aggression towards trans people from his tweets. Again, it's the typical "I respect you but I don't support you" kind of thing, which is literally FINE.

We’ve litterally dissected the brains of trans people (both those who transitioned and those who didn’t) and found that their brains really were more like the gender they claimed to be. They are being honest with themselves. Its a fuck up of nature that they have the wrong body/brain.

Check Blizzard, for example. They let one guy (or a group of people, really) fuck up EVERYTHING, and the main thing that REALLY hurt the company was them losing their sponsors.
If you're gonna sign up to be in a team (sports, E-Sports, etc.) then you have to watch what you say. Obviously if you threaten people, are straight up an asshole, or say disgusting racist or just intolerable an morally unjust things to people then thats different an you deserve what you get. But hardy did none of those things, he simply spoke up against something someone said that they shouldnt have said. Its one thing to believe in something an to think its more important then other things, but you have to remember that that thing you think is less important, may be more important to someone else. An the gara or dara person whatever their name is, spoke down on something that is VERY important to a lot of people. much more people then the lgbtqrx movement. The military, and more specifically the soldiers in it who just want to fight for our country an their families to give them safe peaceful lives, have people who love and respect them deeply an she practically spit on that. Many people, people i know personally have lost family members in combat serving, some died valiantly protecting innocent children from terrorists, and their comrades in arms who may otherwise have been killed but instead were saved by a person who disregarded their own life to ensure their buddy wasnt the one killed. @@GooP-oq4pw are you one of them? or are you just lazy sitting on your chair?
also, it's not cutting off, if you want to talk about something, do your research first.
but i don't disagree, they suffer a lot more, but so are the black people and marginalized groups, no suffering is more important than other.

making fun of someone for feeling unsafe around another person is just pathetic
you don't know this person's experiences with this type of behaviour, and for trans folk especially physical violence is very real
when it comes to "expressing opinions" sure, i don't think someone should be banned for that, but transphobia is not an opinion, it's a hatred towards a minority, if your opinion was "well i think black people are just worth less" that would clearly get you banned why would the same for trans people be any different. saying it's just 'different opinions' is just used to water down the actual severity of transphobia

Another overall successful crumbling of a career that had nothing to do with an opinion of someone who is supposed to be protected from their ideas being shut down. Gotta love when the Constitution is only applied one way. If Brawlhalla will allow for one side, they should let the other side express themselves. So long as it doesn't directly affect their work. Nobody got threatened, they just disagreed, but the person in the arena giving his time and effort to BMG gets banned. Love to see it

The fact, that Hardy was the one getting banned for his opinion while that "IT" wanna be called thing was left as the one that got hurt overall is leaving me with mixture of every unpleasant feeling. I'm not trying to flash a bad light at lgbt community or so, but such people are quite frankly the best reason to be absolutely disgusted by this topic. No wonder.
