Excellent tutorial! I’ve watched several. Yours stands out as a good example of Linux tutorials. I’m going to attempt to setup a home DNS and need to understand exactly how this is done. I like your incremental approach.
I want to try this in a DOCKER.

Very well explained. You answered all my questions between part 1 and 2. It's been 30 years since I've dealt with Bind. You've reduced reading the old O'Reilly book to just 40 minutes of your instruction.
Suggestion for a part three... create a zone for up address to name resolution.

Hey Eddie, thanks a lot for the tutorial, it really helped me. I would add the correction of changing the zone file group to "named" to avoid issues in the future for new users
