really admire the way you simultaneously push people to reach their target, whist also putting the on the spot! some folk seem to get a kick out of lording it up over others less refined in their discipline, an act like its some kind of secret! id be very suprised if the next generation of riders arent heavily influenced by this approach!
Seriously impressive work on the 26 Ali! Enjoyed both vids with Coy, he seems like a great guy. Cheers for much needed motivation to go and ride in this heatwave!
great riding again , swapping to someone elses bike and doing the same line as on your own bike is very cool : ) can you do a vlog with the same sort of spots but on the orange , that would be cool to see
man Ali you guys have some really awesome spots to ride and some spots have great features for practicing certain tricks oh yeah great vlog by the way !!!!
Are you equating "hard" with the time it takes to save up for a good bike? I know you didn't buy a YZ for $1600 new. 2 seconds on eBay and I see a dozen trials bikes under $1k. And yeah, I'd rather have virtually ANY quality bike over a dirtbike.
It's pretty insane how much bike control you have over this hex after so many years without riding a 26, pretty impressive I have to admit. Also you are so close to 15k subscribers Ali! :D
I have a Magura MT7 with Trialtech brakepads, super strong and grabby. Other really good options are shimano saints, run by a guy named Aaron Browne whos a beast, and funny enough I've heard really good things about avid bb7 cable brakes! If you pm me of Instagram I can give you any advice I have :)
Once you get to changing pads it sort of back-doors all of the temperature tendencies. Aaron rides saints on 203mm rotors and Danny used to run them before the Maguras. I've not seen many XT set ups, that's probably worth checking out as well!
pretty awesome vlog with that huge guy, doesn't seems that tall in video but in actual he will be 😛 finally you proved that skills matters most not bike 😃
Ali, I'm gonna be going to Portsmouth for Uni... cough cough ride with me cough cough haha looking to replace my old bike with a new Inspired Arcade team :) Can't wait!!!
Make it a Drop and Roll tour ;) get all the lads down haha that way you can validate the travel time :) Loving the vlogs so far and keep it up! Always entertaining and hopefully I'll attend a tour sometime!
Ali, what do you think about 20" trials bikes for a beginner. Thinking of buying one, and I heard it is easier to start on a smaller wheels. I also think about the missing seat on the smaller bikes - I do see you quite often seating after jumps - which means I would be much much more exhausted than you are, and no seat to relax on a bit.
Pavel Lobodinský I started on a 26” and I think it just helped me since I was used to mtb. If you’re coming from bmx then 20 or 24 might be worth a shot
Coy's instagram link in the description is slightly too short, just to let you know :) highly considering selling my jump bike for a trials bike after watching all these vlogs! keep em coming!
To be honest I loved the Hex before this too, I rode a Hex before I rode the Arcade and actually helped develop it, i have videos of me on the prototype hex from around 2010 :)
Cool stuff. I watch all your vids and Brailles so I'm sure we will see it soon. Did the tubes have schrader or presta valves? I have a feeling that the braille crew are gonna be a bit clueless about them which will be fun to watch!
I'm building a 26 dirt jumper and at first I wanted to build a 24 but I was finding that parts for 24 were pretty hard to find. I'm a smaller guy so I think I'd feel more comfortable on a 24 but I like the availability of parts for 26in. Are 24s becoming not as commonly used because I really only see them in trials. I wonder why they're not as popular.
Great episode, thanks for it! I have a plan of traveling with my bike from Ukraine to Scotland next year. Hope I'll be lucky to ride with you :) Btw Ali, will you come to Eurobike this year? I know it's going to be the last Eurobike opened to the public, and really want to visit it.
That's an 26'' Arcade then. If Duncan can decide on the color for the new 4play, you could put down your foot for a 26'' version. Would open up the tyre and rim choice quite a bit.
so im really intrested about getting into trails biking but looking for a beginner bike that wont break my bank if thats possible? any help would be appreciated.
hello ali! i want to buy me a inspired flow plus trial bike but i dont know if i should pick it in 24" or 26" . i am 1,80 tall. btw im new in trial biking. if u can reply me i would really appreciate it! cheers!
Hey! Yep its a GH4, The lenses were a canon 50mm on metabones speedbooster adapter, and a Rokinon/Samyang 10mm F2.8. Its a really awesome set up if you don't need much lowlight!
The shoes matching the bikes is pretty funny.
Sage Roberts I noticed that too
colour co-ordination on point as always
깔맞춤이지 ㅋㅋ
For anyone just finding this video, I’ve actually moved channels! This is the new home, just my name haha. ❤️
at 4:20 you landed softer than some one could on feet thats amazing control
Up the wall at 16:10 is so incredibly smooth... Damn thats silk like smooth insane how clean it is
How times have changed! Ali is now riding a 26” hex and likes it so much more! 🚲
Orla Johnson Taking credit whether or not it’s actually because of this hahaha
13:20 The shadow of the bike spray painted in the wall! :)
hi Ali I watched you at drop and roll tour and it was so much fun I loved it.
Enjoy watching these old vids. 😎 Sick video! 26 vs 24!🚴
Great skills and the best scenery in the world. Cheers from across the pond.
really admire the way you simultaneously push people to reach their target, whist also putting the on the spot! some folk seem to get a kick out of lording it up over others less refined in their discipline, an act like its some kind of secret! id be very suprised if the next generation of riders arent heavily influenced by this approach!
mr420B Ali has by far been the biggest influence on my riding, and still is who I go to to check form on everything haha
18:05 the woman in the background: I couldn't do that on 26 inch
DJ.Sauerkraut Also me behind the camera lol
I've been a fan for over a decade, and it's so good to see you back on 26"!
#Gravity #BangorRide #WinterAir #BrakelessSpring2010
Seriously impressive work on the 26 Ali! Enjoyed both vids with Coy, he seems like a great guy. Cheers for much needed motivation to go and ride in this heatwave!
:'-)
"I'm gonna... slightly less regurgitate it." Ali you are a goddamn wordsmith and we love you for it.
PS the shot at 19:19 is beaut!
This is one of the funniest things I've read this year.
Haha, I reckon "AND... I don't have to walk home!" is up there as well!
Coy White is badass! Some of the scenes Ive seen with him in manhattan.. dope.
Troy Lewis Way too nice!! Thank you so much bro 👊
Amazing vlog as always Ali! Really enjoyed it.
very nice...... cool video
PureBlanc cool comment 😎
great riding again , swapping to someone elses bike and doing the same line as on your own bike is very cool : )
can you do a vlog with the same sort of spots but on the orange , that would be cool to see
Ali Clarkson the rain spot gap jump will be doable with gears to play with 😀
man Ali you guys have some really awesome spots to ride and some spots have great features for practicing certain tricks oh yeah great vlog by the way !!!!
Incredible dude,s hell yeah!!!!!
Mr White, I am jealous. Your stay up there looked better than mine! :p Another great vlog Ali! Great to see you on a 26 inch again :)
Can’t wait for drop and roll to come to Killin
Really Impressive Ali!!
very cool.
those last two lines were mental, amazing skillz
Oh man. I want to fly myself across the pond to hang out with you for a few days.... Extremely jealous of Coy right now. Good vlog as always, Ali
oopsie hehe
Ali thanks for the vlog!!
Just had a huge crash ... now i dont have a bike.. yoy bring the smile from riding!!
Ali Clarkson We had a urban DH here in my town and on one of the drops i came up short... the fork is splitted on to piecess 😂
The look on that womans face at 18:08 ...its like shes almost terrified haha!
Brought the Florida weather…Raining would be correct also 😂
Looks pretty much like the trip I'm about to do next month 😅, see you soon 👌🏼
Bring back the brakeless 26"! (and mods)
Coy needs a 29er trials ;-)
I do so love tacos hahaha
Ali Clarkson how tall are you? Would you recommend 24" or 26" for someone around 6ft 4ins?
Prothoon 24"
Now I know what to call my faces of "faux wellness"!! Thanks!
demon646 oh dear 😂 do I get to blame jetlag after two weeks over there orrr....
Oh my gosh! I want an Ali Clarkson trials tour!
Can you really put a price on that level of awesome?
hahaha Glad I got it while I could 😂
you guys wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a trials bike in America.
Anythings possible if you belieeeeeeve *shooting star crosses the sky*
It's possible,if you'd rather have a $3000 bike than a Dirtbike. My yz125 only cost like 1600
Pinkbike.com has loads of used ones...
The problem is, no one sells them in the USA, so you can’t try before you buy.
can you do a 24" bike vs a 26" Comp trials bike
I'm up with that idea, I wanna buy a trials bike and I'm thinking between the fourplay 24" or the hex 26" So it will help me a lot! :D
Naw second.... Great Work Ali love your videos!
It's pretty insane how much bike control you have over this hex after so many years without riding a 26, pretty impressive I have to admit.
Also you are so close to 15k subscribers Ali! :D
apparently you just hit 15k! congratulations Ali your good work is paying off :)
Hi Ali, love all you do! Question: What river is that in the background? Thanks!
Now the HEX page says Ali's name on it
Ali, thats radio influence from a repeater or router could also be "radio relay" in german "richtfunk" signal
Love the intro m8 it is 100 times better now 😉
LOL
Would love to see a reverse of this now you have been on 26 for about 5 years now :p
Awesome vlog Ali! Always wanted to see you ride a 26". I really feel you should get a hex, it will be a lot of fun! Cheers!
Ali Clarkson yeah you should!💯
Watching in 2020 again!, Cashless has some nice videos but not really trials related even though he is a good rider
I feel I need to practice a bit more to have a right to be in your fanbase X)
Ali Clarkson Are unicyclists welcome?
comes all the way from murca and you ride on building site on rubble and pallets lol
karl wood still better than the spots at home lmao
You are getting better and better ;D
amazing vlog 👌
Sweet vlog Ali
I need to swap my element with V-Brake for a DD Hex they look so good ! Awesome Vlog again, doing good on both 24 and 26" Ali ;)
Its so nice, I hyped it up on my head for three or four years riding the V1 hex and even still it exceeded my expectations!
What rear brake are you running ? I never rode a trials bike with rear disc so a bit nervous of how it will do versus my v brake which is a beast !
CashlessCaptures Saints make bad trials brakes as they work best when hot. XT work better for street in my experience.
Once you get to changing pads it sort of back-doors all of the temperature tendencies. Aaron rides saints on 203mm rotors and Danny used to run them before the Maguras. I've not seen many XT set ups, that's probably worth checking out as well!
Hey Ali I read in another comment that you have a BMX bike. You should do a video on that. It's awesome seeing you on different bikes.
pretty awesome vlog with that huge guy, doesn't seems that tall in video but in actual he will be 😛 finally you proved that skills matters most not bike 😃
I'm just 6'3 so nothing crazy haha, but I still like the coziness of the hex
CashlessCaptures haha got you pal, saying 7feet is too big :p. Ali must measured your height first.
yess til tomorrow it works sure🤙🏼
now I want swap my 26 to 24 :D
Ali today I watched u at a stunt show thing in Ramsgate I loved it u were great
Ayyyyyyyeeeeeeee stephen got buthurt that you forgot him ali ;)
Witch bike should i get to learn manuals?
I would deff use the 26 inch frame and put new bars on it for wheeling
New hex brakeless video coming up right!? Loving the vids ali
What bike do u recomened as a cheep starter bike
Ali, I'm gonna be going to Portsmouth for Uni... cough cough ride with me cough cough haha looking to replace my old bike with a new Inspired Arcade team :) Can't wait!!!
Make it a Drop and Roll tour ;) get all the lads down haha that way you can validate the travel time :) Loving the vlogs so far and keep it up! Always entertaining and hopefully I'll attend a tour sometime!
us south lot will ride with you, 20 mins from portsmouth
GeorgeInspired that would be cool! I've seen your RUclips channel and Instagram a few times :) have to let you know when I move and get a new bike.
What kind of cassette does that blue bike have?
Joey Ciminello It was an old hope pro 2, pretty low in engagements but damn near indestructible
They just casually jump 3-5’ vertical obstacles.
Is there any advantage to riding a 26 over a 24?
Coy's instagram link in the description is slightly too short, just to let you know :) highly considering selling my jump bike for a trials bike after watching all these vlogs! keep em coming!
What kinda bike is that
Omar Cervantes Inspired Arcade (red) and Hex (blue)
Hey Ali could you make a video of all your bikes and give some tips on trials riding thanks
That first try was from Braille 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Ly Ali (not in a gay way)
So this is when you fell in love with the hex?
To be honest I loved the Hex before this too, I rode a Hex before I rode the Arcade and actually helped develop it, i have videos of me on the prototype hex from around 2010 :)
another awsome vlog like it ! :D :D :D
make some more :D :)
Ali I think you have the wrong guy in the description!
Ali Clarkson OH btw. 30 Subs to 15K congrats on that milestone😊👌
Ali Clarkson Ejj keep it going!! Love your videos😊
Ali C did Braille ever get that board you made with the tubes?
Cool stuff. I watch all your vids and Brailles so I'm sure we will see it soon. Did the tubes have schrader or presta valves? I have a feeling that the braille crew are gonna be a bit clueless about them which will be fun to watch!
No homo cashless has some beautiful hair
No judgement
What are those white bars with the sweet rise?
Great video 🤘🤘🤘🤘👌
Can't wait to see you in ramsgate
I'm building a 26 dirt jumper and at first I wanted to build a 24 but I was finding that parts for 24 were pretty hard to find. Ty_Braek yeah 24in dj bikes are pretty much dying out only a handful of people ride them.
Whats the 24 inch bike? Red or blue?
Joker101 k red was the 24” and blue was 26”!
Great episode, thanks for it! I have a plan of traveling with my bike from Ukraine to Scotland next year. Hope I'll be lucky to ride with you :) Btw Ali, will you come to Eurobike this year? I know it's going to be the last Eurobike opened to the public, and really want to visit it.
they may have video cams with radio transmitted signals
Nice vidéo
Ali, what is your 24" set up? Rims and hubs.
Would you consider going back to a 26'' street bike?
That's an 26'' Arcade then. If Duncan can decide on the color for the new 4play, you could put down your foot for a 26'' version. Would open up the tyre and rim choice quite a bit.
so im really intrested about getting into trails biking but looking for a beginner bike that wont break my bank if thats possible? any help would be appreciated.
Both of your shoes match your frames
What kind of bikes and how much do they cost?
I assume you guys run double wall rims for strength?
Good trik
I am looking for a good beginner street trials bike. Any suggestions?
Everything looks sooooo much smaller when next to the 26"
DBLO 7 Don’t remind me haha
Sweet

What camera does your long-haired friend have?
Hey! Yep its a GH4, The lenses were a canon 50mm on metabones speedbooster adapter, and a Rokinon/Samyang 10mm F2.8. Its a really awesome set up if you don't need much lowlight!
Thanks
