We are on our honeymoon in Japan and we happened to get 2 Grand Seikos at Wako. The buying experience was impeccable and I can confirm that the second floor with all the history and archived pieces was a treat to see in person!

Gonna be there for my honeymoon on Monday and purchasing my watch there as well! Did you find it difficult to communicate with them? Did they speak English?

@@GBDiaz13 They don’t speak a lot of English, but are super nice and patient. I’d recommend having Google Translate on hand.

The WAKO clock tower is simply amazing. I had a chance to go up there and saw it couple years ago. My dream was fulfilled. Lastly, Maruyama san looks elegantly gorgeous as always.

I went there two weeks ago wearing my newly acquired Wako Clock Tower 90th Limited Edition Slgh015 and the gentleman behind this watch bar recognized it and politely thanked me for buying it :) then he showed me a custom watch that has been ordered by someone that looked absolutely incredible. It was like the SLGA007 but looked much more detailed and beautiful, it's hard to describe how detailed and beautiful this particular lake Suwa dial looked like, it really had some depth to it and the blue was also shining in a spectacular way. At the back, it had a custom engraving on the see through Caseback of the 8 days spring drive moment. Super impressive watch and it really makes you want a custom GS too. What I found interesting was that apparently you can also order these with a bracelet instead of a leather strap but that is even more pricey as it's only reserved for the precious metals.

I must confess that I watch your videos with great pleasure. I am a lover of watches, but above all of good taste and education. And Japan represents these values very much and it would be a great pleasure to visit it one day.
Anyway, kudos to the two presenters for their professional way of introducing us to these iconic places.
And kudos to journalist Ms.Maruyama Naomi for her elegance.
    Greetings from Italy!

    Wow....
Now this is what I call a luxury watch....👌
It could have been better you can engrave some kind of serial number based on the design ordered
At least let them decide if they want it or not
Either way they get that number either on a paper or their watch
That way, customer would feel so related to other owner, since they can tell from a sequntial number engraved or at list written on a certificate issued by this watch bar for originality
    Stay ahead Seiko
A company respeting the customer deserve more respect😅

I wanna buy a Grand Seiko Spring Drive.

Is it weird to go to Wako with such clothes?

Disagree, as someone who owns Swiss, German, and Japanese watches. Each region brings their own unique flair and skill set to watchmaking.
If you can manage, ask respected watchmakers if they think Grand Seiko is garbage and record their response on video. They might think you're wasting their time, but hopefully they'll indulge the question and take the time to educate you.
