He was stargazing in a park that is closed to traffic from dawn to dusk.....do he and his lawyers have any clue how ridiculous this sounds?
According to a weather history website it was also misty and overcast that night in both Pullman and Moscow.
Hoping they add on charges of trespassing, after they admitted he visited that park that is closed during the late night hours.
Someone in another thread asked is it possible he simply drove to the main (outer) parking lot for the area - not that he necessarily went ‘into’ the Park Itself ?
They didn’t say he was stargazing that night. 🤦🏻♀️ They said he likes to do that at night.
Considering he has pictures with geo tags from the multitude of times he did this, no idiot it’s not ridiculous.

I'm one of thpse people who drives out at night to get fresh air and also look at falling stars and the moon while listening to music. I do it at night to avoid the crowds. It ridiculous some people can't accept the fact that there are people who actually do these things, it's beyond their narrow comprehension.

Just started watching this- You know Wawawai park is a pay per use and the gate is locked from dusk to 7:00 AM in the morning. So I guess he just went to sneak around the gate on foot and drop the knife in the river? In the freezing weather in November? yeah right-Then turns around to go to Clarksville a few hours later? This thing is a game to Kohberger and this is costing Idaho millions.
What I think doesn't really matter because I am not on a jury. But for you I will tell you. If Bryan really believed this alibi, he would have said it 1-1/2 years ago. But he didn't so it is a made-up alibi. So I believe Bryan is the murder and that view hasn't changed. chuck

She claimed before that the prosecution had not given them that video she mentions on this alibi paperwork.
I think it’s because this sort of ‘semi Alibi’ is tough to demonstrate / prove. It’s not like he was On Video, at a nightclub or party / surrounded by 20 other people who could swear to it.
By default, him saying “I was by myself / just out cruising around” … makes it kind of hard to ‘prove’ that, admittedly. I need the Touch DNA explained, personally (like, Defense would need to come up with something incredibly strong / good to get me to not consider that highly problematic for him / indicating guilt)..

His phone being turned off is huge Gray, like you said, and the prosecution will drive that point home.
IIRC, the Prosecution never said (or could 100% prove) his phone WAS off - just that it had no signal / reception / etc, during certain periods of that night. Suspicious - yes… but if the reception is indeed crappy out there (I don’t know, of course)… then that might be the angle Defense uses / tries ?
@@AlekTrev006 the fact that is was in an area where there were several cell phone sites, odds are he turned his phone off. Only the time he was in the rural areas could they argue there was no signal.
@@ScabibbleWilly Yeah - I tend to agree. I feel he’s like 70% or more the guy - but a lot of it hinges on that ‘touch DNA’ - I think. If they had never found or had that, then I’d think the case against him would be considerably harder for them. I still struggle with why he’d lose his mind like this, and just decide to wipeout 4 people on a random winter night… but I guess some humans are just evil like that … it’s depressing 😕

He found someone to target, and planned his attack. I would find him guilty even without his DNA on that sheath, only because all the puzzle pieces of circumstantial evidence attained shows how he committed these murders.

Poor Bryan, just happening to be driving around star-gazing on the very route at the very time the murders occurred. Rather like poor Ricky Allen just happening to be on bridge in Delphi at the same time, and dressed identically, as the murderer.
Early in the investigation but after BK was arrested, it was said that LE had contacted the fish and wildlife to help.. I assumed they were asked to search waterways. Nothing more has been said about it..
They can run around in circles all they want😂😅 evidence shows the knife sheath.

Exactly, his phone was off. As I have said, if he was driving around where the defense states he was, surely, some video of his vehicle would be presented. And if that video is correct and clear enough, it could potentially get him bail or the charges dropped. Bottom line: No video has been presented because no such video(s) exist.
With respect to the evidence that has been collected, prove to me Mr kohberger was inside the king road residence. If you are 100% certain he is the culprit proving he was in the house should not only be easy, but necessary to take the claim seriously.
I thought the prosecution has to prove his guilt? Not a lot of people can proved alibis for the middle of the night when alone. Jack D claimed to be asleep for example. Why isn’t the prosecution handing everything over to the defense? I don’t know if BK did this or not because we haven’t seen concrete proof of anything but the prosecution will have to reveal that he did this beyond a doubt.
If they were trying to get the grand jury decision dismissed, wouldnt they have used this info if it were true... very sus alibi

She's accusing prosecution of destroying this or withholding. Can you do a deep dive to help us understand his returning on the this cam from coming from Star gazing. Simply that by a way or another, it did not ping any towers around Moscow or Pullman.
It could have been off, yes, but also he could just him being in a place that isn’t cover by cell phone tower.
The metadata obtain after his arrest, by his phone itself, could show precisely his geolocation, with infinitely much more precision, by looking into his GPS data and thus, only through his own cellular device.
Also the park is gated & closed between 7pm and 7am (according to a campus brochure)

Can't prosecution subpoena his actual GPS movements during the incident time frame? That would make his phone irrelevant. Stargazing?? I think not. I mean GPS movements of the car itself...
I don't think BK's Elantra has GPS. It's either too old or just a base model without navigation. I could be wrong, though.

HOPEFULLY the State also has this info about him to cut this nonsense off post haste. also...if he was "in" the Wawawai Park at the time of the murders....well... that park closes at dark and locks down (as per their website) until 7am the next morning. those trail aren't really "running" trails and you are forbidden to go off trail because native plants. so nice try AT! ain't gonna work.
Wasnt kohberger’s special emphasis in grad school something like electronics, internet networks/cloud data, cell phone signals, gps, etc. & the related informatics? This is the best he could come up with I guess?? 🙄
He has one of those new cars that are coming out in 2025.. a car that drives on its own without an actual driver and circles a neighborhood during a test drive while he was somewhere else looking at the stars.
There’s nothing romantic about what BK actually did that murderous night. His alibi is one of the weakest I’ve heard in ages. Not to mention the phone data that shows he was at the scene of the crime. The jury will see right through his desires to be seen as a stargazer. No alibi for the DNA
The best thing he could do at this point is take a plea deal, IF the prosecution even gives him one, which they may not. Oh well.

As a criminology student, BK should know that nighttime is a dangerous time to be out and about driving, hiking, running and star gazing. There is potential to find oneself in the presence of an unsavory character, perhaps one with murderous intentions ... Oh, wait... The irony! What a ridiculous alabi! I would have expected something fantastical seeing as it took this long for BK to "remember" what he was doing so as to be able to come up with such a sweet and innocent "alabi" .

How far can you see cross country there with a telescope? What is the landscape? From a dark, high position to moscow? 1122 king road? Run to moscow?

The DA's will blow this apart. They're going to show his phone location and direction, then show his phone being turned off, then show the camera video at exactly the time his car would have passed by if he continued at the same speed and travelling the same direction. They'll then show other video's which also follow this timeline of him arriving in Moscow and at King Dr. This alibi would have to mean that he turned his phone off at exactly the same time he stopped, turned around, and went in the opposite direction for a few hours. It's not going to fly.
At some point he would've had to refuel, right? Would be interesting to know where and when he did that.
