I have a newly installed (February) lawn of Zoysia Palisades. Is it too soon to do this? There are areas that could use more soil. The grass is growing, but there are spots. May 2024

No. Now is a great time to ask long as it’s been about two months.

Anytime really but now is best. You’ll wanna do it heavier than you think

Where can I get sand and compost mix?
Most landscape supply stores. If ur in Jacksonville you can use mulch and more
would topsoil and sand work or how about just adding topsoil and no sand?
Anything organic will work but topsoil can wash away due to the bark in it.
How can I fix my bare area? I have St Augustine and the area is bare even after applying compost like Black Kow and aerating.

I’d do a complete lawn dressing like this every year or so.
My soil is so bad , I'm going to do it again for the 3rd time this year, I'm in California.
How much should that much sand + compost cost?
Depends how much you need. Ur a cubic yard should be 45-75 to pick up
