The Nike commercial, And1 mixtape 3, all those classics. The mechanics were just so good for PS2 times. The jerseys, the parks, the soundtrack!!! The voice of Bobbito Garcia commentating was funny af. I just hope a similar game will be made for this generation.

They can revamp the controls so you can dribble with the sticks instead of buttons have different game modes maybe some game modes or three V3 play to 21 and the others are 5V5 with short quarters make shooting in the game fun. So you can use Steph and Trey and Dane. And have fun with big men like Giannis and Embiid make the defense fun to. Just like it was when you used to play with Ben Wallace or Gary Payton keep everything simple and fast paste, but add layers to make it dynamic and competitive. Keep it on par with volume two instead of V3 or HomeCourt, because those were way too wacky NBA street volume two felt so grounded even though it was extreme. I really hope that they are developing something like this as we speak. Because I don’t care about NBA live anymore. Nobody does let it go and bring back the street series. NBA, NFL, FIFA, and even UFC Street will be tight. Since EA owns the license to the UFC game rights.

The gameplay is balanced as follows: defense both triggers + steal > offense dribble move off no dribble move > def both triggers + steal def single trigger + steal > off no dribble move off dribble combos > def single triggers + steal
Come on, You know you weren't going to have it easy against the GOAT MJ, Magic, & Elgin Baylor LOL. But fa real you have to do combo dribbles/dunks with the shoulder buttons to get your game-breakers up. Once you get it down you will become a beast at the game. I wish they would release this game with an updated roster with added legends.

NBA Street Volume 2 is the GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME! This game was my childhood. Nobody to this day when I boot it up can beat me, it's like riding a bicycle, you never forget 😂
Be careful what you wish for. Ever played NBA Street Homecourt? There's a reason why the franchise died, because that game was miserable and an insult to the franchise. If EA makes a new one today though, you'd have a ton of microtransactions and NOTHING from the old games. The old devs and designers? Gone. The commentator? Gone, replaced by crap. The music? Gone, replaced by cheap modern shit. The graphics? Not the same style as EA is all about realism and pushing their Frostbyte engine. Stick to playing 2 and 3 upscaled to 4K on Emulators, because that's the best you can get.

You have to drop the resolution to make it stop lagging. I noticed the PS2 version lags a lot, but the Gamecube version doesn't really lag at all even at 1080
I used to just be the center and hang down in the paint and block every shot that gets put up. Pretty good strategy. And you gotta do moves combos to get those gamebreaker points up fast.
