Just two months ago I ended a relationship that meant a lot to me. It wasn't easy and I'm still grieving because I loved that person a lot. Then this song comes out making me cry and soothing my pain at the same time. It's liberating when you realize that other people go through the same fears and doubts you're having right now and Sufjan gives them voice in the most beautiful and poignant way. Thanks for putting your heart in your work :)
